FOOD: Food is very good we have come weekly after the new opening. Love how things are from local sources and seem very fresh. FOOD SERVICE: Food service is good but not great. If there is not a manager in the food window then food will sit. It’s every server for her/himself. Would be much more efficient to have collaborative service. When they are not busy they are not helping their fellow servers or looking for food to run! Lots of them seem distracted at the table also. HOSTESS SERVICE: This is the downfall of the whole system!! And honestly where you can loose people and money! A frazzled hostess who quotes 25-30min with a restaurant full of open tables open. (And the manager standing around talking to people not realizing what’s happening!) EVERYONE is looking around as they come in and she quotes them the same time over and over and it’s VERY clear she has no idea what she is doing. This is not the first time. It’s been this way every time I have come in. Even when there seems to be a very loud Manager running the front. Their heads are constantly looking at the papers like they are completely confused instead of instilling confidence and exuding hospitality to the people who are standing right in front of them. May I suggest the system needs to change or the people at the front do. I’m now sitting here going over the 25-30min with multiple table open and now people are leaving because they see no one is being seated. This goes beyond servers calling out! Fix the front and a little bit of food service and this place would be 5 stars all the time!! Fortunately, they are benefiting from small town not many options. But that will not last for long! More ATD! EDITING TO SAY: When spoke to manager that the girl at the front needed help and I was going over the quote by about 15min with MANY tables open. He seemed irritated and defensive. Not a good approach or feel. I’m the one that should have been upset but instead made him aware of a situation he didn’t know was happening because I had been...

After a quick camping weekend, my husband and I stopped in for breakfast on the way home in lieu of making our own breakfast at our camp site. I had never previously been to The Hub prior to the renovation, but it was such a fresh breath of air to walk into! The decor is very western inspired with modern industrial elements like metal pendant lights and bold black windows encasing a separate dining area. It truly is a beautiful transformation based off of photos I've seen in older reviews.

On to the food, the menu offers a wide variety of standard breakfast fare. My husband ordered the Country Fried Steak and I ordered the Huevos Rancheros; we also got an order of the Buttermilk Pancakes to share. When the Country Fried Steak arrived, my jaw dropped!! It was utterly massive on its own and it still came with your standard variety of breakfast sides like eggs, toast, and hashbrowns. My husband really enjoyed it. The Buttermilk Pancakes we shared were absolutely delicious and my only complaint here is that the tiny pitcher of syrup was not nearly enough for how big these pancakes were. Otherwise, they were cooked to perfection and so fluffy! The Huevos Rancheros I got turned out really well despite the lack of authenticity to the dish. The salsa definitely looked and tasted like a jarred salsa, and I'm not sure what was going on with the beans since the ingredients listed on the menu only indicated black beans, but there were some somewhat runny refried beans added to the dish. All these things aside, the dish overall still had a great taste to it and hit the spot after our previous night's camp stove dinner.

A lot of effort seems to have gone into the refurbishment of this establishment. It's so well done and I would enjoy to...

This place shocked me today. I am home sick and ordered salmon and salad for $52 via delivery service. I only received the $6 side salad with a ranch lid not securely fastened and spilled everywhere. I called three times I was told three stories: 1) they checked the order and gave him two bags, but it was very busy 2) they checked the order and a manager checked the order and it was in one bag, 3) they put it all in one bag and the driver saw the order and confirmed it was complete (no clarity on how he saw the order through a stapled opaque bag) and they have not been busy at all today and then accused me of lying when I suggested that being busy orders got mixed up and that could have been the issue. I was told they “never make mistakes”. I told them I would get a refund through Uber. I said this multiple times - it was not about a refund. I just wanted to order some salmon. I was accused of lying multiple times. I never shouted or swore but I was hung up on when I asked the name of the incredibly rude man I was speaking to. When I called back immediately, despite them not being busy and telling me he was standing right there, they would not give me the man’s name, but put me on hold and never picked up again. Who is running this place!? My goodness. Unbelievable. We used to love going here as a family. We will...

My recent visit to The Hub left me utterly delighted, and I can't wait to share my experience. From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance was inviting, and the service was top-notch. Mo, the owner, was personally attending to guests, which added a warm touch to the evening. Now, let's talk about the food. The Mac and Cheese was a symphony of flavors, with each bite more satisfying than the last. But the real star of the show was the Wagyu steak—it truly melted in your mouth, leaving a lingering taste of perfection. And let's not forget about the pretzels and cheese—warm, tender, and oh-so-delicious! What truly sets The Hub apart is not just the exceptional food but the attention to detail and the passion of the staff, led by Mo himself. He was not only present but also knowledgeable, answering all our questions with enthusiasm and expertise. In conclusion, if you're looking for a dining experience that exceeds expectations, look no further than The Hub. With its fantastic service, mouthwatering dishes like the Wagyu steak and Mac and Cheese, and the warm atmosphere, it's a place I wholeheartedly recommend to everyone.

This is no longer The Hub. It's a new restaurant at the same location with the same name. So very sad they had to make such drastic changes. I don't live in the area, and have eaten here every time I come through for the last 20 years. I stopped by with family today. Before coming, I was telling them how this is the last of the old school sit-down diners. We walked in and noticed the remodel immediately. It looks fantastic. The waitress said they did the remodel in December. I was excited for the remodel, until I looked at the menu.......or what's left of it. Super simple menu now. Not many, if any items from their old menu, and super expensive. Most items are $20-$25. Anything that looked good was pushing $40. I had ordered a coke before I looked at the menu. They had my coke to me by the time I looked at it. The only non-entre item is a burger. We didn't feel like spending $80 for two people. I paid for my coke and left. I checked with some friends who live in the area. All of them are sad about the change and miss the old place. Sad to see the end of an era.
