I grew up in hellertown and I've always loved DiMaios. The food was always good. 1/27/2018: Tonight I'm highly disappointed. My first time back in years; since moving from hellertown. The waitress was mono tone, reading the specials off of a sheet. We ordered apettizer garlic knots, they were the size of donut holes, only 6 of them. Fair price I guess $2.75. They were on a scale of 1-10 a 3. I ordered a DiMaios special chicken cheesteak. It was ok. Maybe a 4. My wife ordered a cheesteak it was bland. Our friend ordered a wrap it was bland. We are now at the end of the meal, my wife didn't finish her food. I have my chicken steak left. The waitress asked us if we wanted a box. I said yes, for my chicken cheese steak. She took my food from the table too the back out of my view to "wrap" it to go. Comes back in a bag. I loved Dimaios growing up. This is not the same place at all. Completely different experience. Truly...
Read moreEverything about this wonderful restaurant is a 10\10! After sampling most of the Lehigh valleys pizza joints, I finally discovered this hidden gem! The entire staff was super friendly and helpful and our server Abby was a rock star. Now onto the scrumptious food. The bruschetta was fresh and light and packed with great flavor! The star of the show however was the Nonna pizza. Why it's taken me 47 years to try one is beyond me but now that I have I'm hooked! The crust was crispy and chewy with an amazing flavor, the sauce was top notch super flavorful with just a hint of sweetness, and the cheese was melty gooey buttery with a hint of nuttiness. What a fantastic place and I can't recommend it enough. Come to Hellertown grab a Nonna slice and...
Read moreGet your pizza here. First time getting take out here. I was nervous but the reviews looked good. From NY / NJ so I have high expectations. They didn’t disappoint me. Got a tomato pie. Always a good test of the sauce. See picture. It was good. Also a plain and Bacon. Bacon is the second picture. Second to the sauce is the crust. Those two things make a pizza. Not one of those 14 inch crackers some take out places use. When you’re done with the center eating the crust should be enjoyable. It was . I thought it could use a pinch more salt, but others disagreed. (I didn’t eat the 3 pies myself). Ordered by phone in advance and it was ready and warm at...
