Tito’s Mexican Snack Bar — Restaurant in Helotes

so so confused. ordered an elote 12oz. That’s exactly how I ordered it. She says okay and points over to the Fritos chips, she only spoke Spanish so I was trying my best to understand. I shook my head no thank you because I didn’t want Fritos just my elote. She charges me $8.00, I was confused because the menu said $5.50, so I asked about it and again I couldn’t understand the best but she ended up saying with tax. I said okay. They bring out a loaded frito pie and I said no oh my god I’m so sorry but I wanted the elote 12oz. I clearly said it multiple times! They take the frito pie back and charge me again. I paid $6.00 for the elote. So now they have $14 of my money and now they brought out the elote. I ask for my refund for the frito pie they charged me for. When I say their corn is the best I’ve had in SA in a while (or ever) I mean it. The white corn is prepared to perfection and every single bite is covered with delicious toppings (crema, queso fresco, mayo, etc). They have a very cute shop in the Helotes/Bandera area with many delicious Mexican snacks. The service was great and they do speak both, English and Spanish.
