This is going to be a really really long review. Food was pretty good. If you like fried bar food type stuff. I did have a huge chili dog that was pretty tasty. There was one negative on the food, I ordered fried pickles and they were way over cooked. I picked out the ones that were semi okay but I left about half of them. I pointed it out to the server and he just gave a half-hearted oh I'm sorry about that. He was a nice guy maybe I should have had him take them back but it took too long to get ordered and to the table so I said piss on it. Atmosphere was ok, I loved all the TVs with sports on all of them. Kind of reminded me of a Sportsbook type of section with all the TVs on the whole wall and some comfy couches , pretty cool
However, it was kind of a weird set up. They had games like Skee-Ball, pop a shot, pass the football through the hoops machines and some other games like that, that you get tickets just like at Dave & Buster's. You could exchange that for a lot of sports related items. And then they had video poker a couple of Buffalo machines, and Game King machines. I don't know something just seemed off. This is right near the Galleria Mall and there is a ton of traffic and I know all the restaurants surrounding the mall have a lot of business, this place didn't, so I don't know if it's just people not knowing about it or it needs the guy from Bar Rescue to whip them into shape. Not trying to be funny but we've lived here in Vegas since 2005 and since then we've only had one other place that we said we would never go back to, this is another. I gave this place 3 stars that's only because the sandwiches that my wife and I had were really good. My wife liked the fries.
Other than that, I didn't like how they charge the $7.50 for 30 tokens that we didn't ask for and then knocking down the price on the food by 25-cent increments so my $7 chili dog cost $3.75, just really weird. He tried to explain it as it's included in your dinner the 30 tokens for $7.50 but what if we didn't want to play. Which we didn't I felt might as well get rid of them. Another negative was my wife went to pay with her credit card and the guy says this place is cash only, no signs or nothing that I saw . and lucky I had some cash that I didn't want to use, but they conveniently did have an ATM that they charge you for , so I paid. I really wanted to like this place but it just wasn't my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCame on a Friday night after 10:30pm (04/05/19) Overall a good place to hangout. The associate named Jay was very nice and attentive (I asked for his name so I could give him props here.) However I was very put off with the customer service I experienced from a female associate; her energy was so negative that I didnāt want to spend another moment in her presence and bother asking for her name. When we arrived just after 10:30pm the female associate (bun in her hair) at the register took a while to acknowledge us at the counterā understandable because she appeared to be manningthe counter alone and looked overwhelmed, eventually we received a delayed ābe with you guys in a minuteā from her. The associate Jay came to the counter and served us. About an hour later, I returned to the counter to inquire about the foosball table and the female associate was again alone at the counter. Me: āIām curious about the foosball table. We made only one goal and no more balls were releasedā. Female associate, seeming disgruntled: āI told them not to mess with it. I didnāt have time to put an āout of order signā.ā Then she hastily hands me tokens as a refund. The end. .... No idea who she was referring to when she said she told āthemā not to āmess with itā.... No one in my group approached the foosball table prior to playing it that one time. Again, overall, this location is a nice place to hangout. However, there are other places that compete with Bourbon Street and that negative interaction I had with the associate was enough to influence my decision to look for those other places to go before...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been high spending customer there for the past 4 years and I recently lost my job, so I wasn't frequenting as much. About a month ago, I was informed if I wasn't betting 50Ā¢, I could no longer get a comp drink. Which is fine , I always tipped no less than 2$. I always play the 40Ā¢ Buffalo machine, so I'm a little short of a 50Ā¢ bet. I've hit a small jackpot there for 1200$ and was sure to tip each employee 50$, it's fine, I'll take my business elsewhere and make sure I let my friends know that place is biased when it comes to customers. As I seen plenty of new faces come in and no questions asked of how much they would be betting, but the drinks are...
