Kungfu Noodle — Restaurant in Henderson

This review is an honest opinion of the food and experience.

Simple version the noodles are great. Awesome to see them doing them right in front and traditionally. The price is very reasonable and good taste. And service was really great by the people attending us. Checked on us multiple times, made sure we didn’t need anything else. Was not too busy at that time. Meat had a little too much fat on it this why I didn’t give 5 stars.

Detailed version: we ordered pot stickers, egg rolls, and 2 beef brisket noodles bowels(1 spicy).

Pot stickers: were cooked to perfection. Would recommend.

Egg rolls: they came out hot and delicious, would also recommend.

Brisket bowels: Now these are a popular item on the menu. From our experience they were good. The noodles in them are what we came for. The brisket I guess I had a little bit of a different expectation. For example all the pieces did have that extra fatty and chewy part of it. Had to at point take it out of my mouth since it became a little to much and at a point it was just pieces of fat with no meat actually on it. That’s why it’s not a perfect 5 stars for me. Would like to see if they can trim and clean the pieces prior to cooking to avoid that kind of issue. Understandably there does need to be some fat flavor but I think it was a little excessive. Needed an extra plate to put the pieces on.

12/20/21 After the 4/11/21, service has improved and food is always the same great quality. Spicy Beef Noodle hits the spot while it's getting nippy outside.

04/11/21 Visited this place a couple days ago. I WAS looking forward on eating here with my family. We had a different server compared to the first visit. We ordered three dishes with two arriving on time and the third one arriving after we finished the first two. Second disappointing view was the table that was finished, the waiter/busser just parked the bus cart next to the table. Instead of cleaning it up, he just sat on the other end eating his own lunch. The only plus that I could mention was his attention to refill our drink. Sadly, I left quite disappointed this time. I hope when/if we visit again, they would be more professional about their complete service.

Prior 04/11/21 Usually I only give four stars unless I visit a place regularly. Freshly made noodles made in front of us won me over. Ordered both Spicy Beef Brisket Noodle Soup and Mongolian Beef Noodle. Both were spicy according to the menu. My kid could handle the spice level. Yes, the dish is oily. That's the chilli oil.

The environment is pleasant and welcoming. So is the server that helped us with the menu. It was entertaining to watch the noodles made. It also nice to hear authentic foreign music unlike other places that play vulgar rap/pop music.

In conclusion, we'll be back. Hopefully for more...

I tried this place with a friend because he had been there before and said it was good. First impression wasn’t great. For reasons I’ll get into later.

Atmosphere 4⭐️: The restaurant looks nice and kept in good condition.

Cleanliness: 3.5⭐️ The 1st impression wasn’t great because the exterior windows were dirty. And upon walking in the kitchen is surrounded by glass and those windows were also dirty. But this restaurant has a very clean dining room. And the tables get cleaned off right away which adds to the overall look of cleanliness. The bathroom was also clean.

Service: 3⭐️. The service was good. We were the first people there so the server was attentive and took our order quickly. I did not feel overly welcomed or the server was super friendly.

Food Quality & Taste: 3.5⭐️ I ordered a Chicken Garlic Sauce Noodle. The food quality seems good. The taste is good but not “knock my socks off” good.

Price/value: 3.5⭐️ The price before tax and tip was $9.95. Not cheap nor expensive these days. The food quantity wasn’t huge. But it was a decent lunch portion for a not so skinny guy.

Summary: The restaurant is good. But it isn’t on my normal side of town so I probably would not go out of my way. I would like to stop in again one day to try...
