WOULD NOT RECOMMEND; WILL NOT BE RETURNING the chef JASON was very rude to me! he was throwing veggies in everyones mouth & i politely told him "no thanks" as i wasn't comfortable doing that. i got a text msg & he continued to harass me saying, "get off your phone, stop catching pokemons" while everyone at the table busted up laughing. i was humiliated. then when it got to our steaks of course i was the only one who wanted mine well done, in which he gave me super attitude saying he would mail it to me & that i was not as easy as the others. ive been to several places like this & never once had anyone say anything due to me liking my steak cooked longer. im sorry, but is this not your job? am i not paying $80-$100 for my dinner, am i not able to have my steak cooked the way i want to eat it? he continued to embarrass me while making the other diners laugh at my expense. when i had enough i just got up & walked out. they tried charging my husband the $84 & offering a $40 gift card. WHY WOULD I WANT TO COME BACK?? finally the owner who was a nice guy, refunded us our money since we told him we had no plans on coming back. FYI - maybe you shouldn't insult the person who would be leaving you a TIP!!! also, it was my husband's BIRTHDAY & we spent it not eating anything since our appetite was ruined & i was left crying due to the...

The food was pretty good but the service felt pretty rushed. We were squeezed into a table for hibachi and we had to make a decision right away with the order. It was our first time visiting, so it's confusing to look at the menu and figure out hibachi was on the last page. By the time we figured out what we wanted we decided to take a hot sake with some waters, but others of the table have already gotten their drinks. It s after serving the salad and soup that we received the waters, after reminding the server. The meal was great, but once again we felt rushed after having five bites we were asked if we wanted to-go boxes. We had a coupon, so that's pretty cool, for a small free sake. We ordered that towards the end of the meal and I felt rushed after, because everybody got up and left right away and it was awkward situation for us to enjoy the rest of the sake. I had a to-go box with my food, that was next to my area while they were resetting up the area around the table. Being the polite ex wait staff we decided to get up and leave and make sure they can clean the table for the next round. As the staff stood behind us, I had forgotten my to-go box and not one employee decided to bring me my to go food or catch my attention that I had left it while exiting. There's no service there, it was all about...

I dont even know where to begin. I dont know if Im more upset with the restaurant, or the person who recommended it to me. In all honesty, it was the worst Hibachi restaurant Ive ever been to. Even made Benihana look good.... First off, I ordered an Old Fashion with no cherry to start. A completely different waiter brought me a manhattan (with a cherry) and when I told him that was not what I ordered, he tracked down my waiter to confirm this, to which she said I said I ordered a Manhattan. I had to once again tell them I wanted an old fashion with no no cherry. In my 34 years of life, I have never ordered, or had the desire to order, a Manhattan. They finally brought me what they considered to be an "old fashion" with, you guessed it, A CHERRY. I did not drink it.

Next, I ordered the NY steak hibachi meal. It was an absolute JOKE. I received 10 very small, thin pieces of meat that was over cooked. I took a pic that I will post when Im not on a plane. The rice tasted awful and looked as though it had been sitting out for an extended period of time. The salad had cucumbers that were on the verge of going bad and the "onion soup" was nothing but a bowl of water. I suppose for half the price of typical hibachi, you get what you pay for. Will DEFINITELY not revisit...

I have been to 3 different Ohjah locations but there is something special about the one in Henderson on Pecos. We have been regulars since they opened around 5 years ago and we have never left disappointed. Dawson, the manager, runs a great crew, and although this restaurant experiences the occasional turnover, there is always that one amazing server that truly sets the dining experience over the top. Currently for us this phenomenal employee is Neil. No matter how busy or crowded the restaurant may be or how many people are in our party, Dawson and Neil go above and beyond to ensure all our needs are met. The food is fantastic and the menu is elaborate: page upon page of mouth watering sushi options, hibachi teppenyaki, appetizers, seafood, steak, curry, udon noodle soups, curry dishes, yakisoba, and the list goes on. Tonight I had sushi and my boyfriend had the filet mignon dinner and it was perfection as always. Ohjah has been one of our absolute favorites since they opened the Pecos and Windmill location and between the upbeat, lively atmosphere, full bar, hibachi teppenyaki, sushi bar, and restaurant, they check every box on the dinner list.
