I’ve had better sushi, but I’m the most disappointed in the service. I’ve been to lots of ayce places so I’m familiar with how it works. We ordered ayce for our entire group of five as well as what I would think is an appropriate amount of rolls for the size of our group. The waiter condescendingly reminded all of us “everything you don’t eat you have to pay for!” as if we were beginners and children.
We ate our rolls, and when we had just a few left that we didn’t like very much the waiter, again with a condescending attitude, asked if we were full! Teasing us as if we were unprepared for what we ordered.
All of this attitude combined with one of our group being actively ignored by the server, as well as not getting the edamame we had asked for multiple times led me to being extremely unsatisfied with my experience.
And the cherry on top? When it came time for the check, we decided to tip 15% as we normally do. No calculations for this were on the receipt so we calculated it manually. The waiter reminded us that we could pick the percentage from 10% and above. The smallest amount on the receipt and machine he was holding were 18%. We were being lied to and gaslit by a server! And he acted as if we were too stupid to understand the receipt machine. We were insulted. No way we’re going back here.
Beware ye all who enter here, expect mediocre sushi and...
Read moreI can't speak for prior to May 2023, but I've come here about a half dozen times since then and it's ALWAYS excellent. $31 for all you can eat sushi that happens to also be delicious, with a huge variety and frankly ridiculously generous portions. The ability to get a half order of special rolls is great so you can try things without feeling like you have to overstuff yourself.
The staff are incredibly nice and attentive, they are lightning fast with orders, and will repeatedly ask what more you may want. I counted (my partner and I ate there tonight) and they came to our table to ask for orders 10 times over the course of about 45 minutes. We've been there at all hours, later in the evening, prime time, weekdays and weekends, it's always consistent. What's more, our friends agree (we always take people who come to visit us there for dinner).
I sort of selfishly want the place to remain a well kept secret since it's rarely got a wait, but they deserve the business. Whatever negative reviews you may see online, I promise they've addressed the issues (if there ever even were any). The place is charming, chill, generous, and delicious. Couldn't ask for anything more and highly recommend!
OH, and a bonus. We ordered delivery from there and they gave us two extra salmon rolls completely free,...
Read moreI love this place. This is our go to sushi place in Las Vegas. We live 30 minutes away and we make the drive. It's worth it.
The atmosphere is a perfect little Japanese mom&pop vibe. Small and cozy, wonderful décor.
The service is also fantastic. We are recognized and welcomed, and the staff is incredible. The last time we ate there (2/3/2024) we didn't have to ask for water once. Every sever we've had was friendly, attentive, and fast. Sometimes service slows down a little when they are busy, but that can't quite be helped.
Food is INCREDIBLE. I have eaten at several sushi places here in Vegas. This is the one I come back to again and again. The care and love put into their rolls are apparent and you can taste the difference. i've had some rolls that aren't my personal favorite, but the ones I love I love HARD. But even the ones I don't favorite still were made with great care. My personal recommendations are Orange Blossom, Pink Lemon, I'm Your Mother, Tengoku, and Popcorn Lobster. Even when we order out, the sushi is packaged with care and more than once an extra roll has been included. They really care about their customers.
I love this place and will continue to drive there. The service, atmosphere and food are easily the...
