I can confidently say after my visit yesterday that you should avoid this place like the plague, and let it continue its underwhelming existence.
Despite being a Pho King loyalist, my recent daytime visit was nothing short of a complete and utter waste of precious time. We languished at our table, ignored by an indifferent waiter who hastily took our orders, conveniently disregarding our drink preferences and offering no recommendations. Our appetizers arrived in haphazard fashion, one mistakenly landing on a neighboring table, a clear violation of health and safety. We endured this embarrassing ordeal, only wishing our food had gone to another table so we could depart without squandering our hard-earned money.
My choice, the grilled chicken pho, was a disappointment with overcooked noodles, albeit the broth was somewhat redeeming. My friend unfortunately ordered the spicy rib pho, a culinary disaster. Overcooked noodles, disgustingly fatty meat that resembled gelatin, and a broth that couldn't muster a hint of spiciness. Regrettably, our elusive waiter remained absent despite our pleas. I was compelled to leave my table and approach the counter, where they begrudgingly handed over chili oil, all the while ignoring our plea to replace the inedible dish.
Efforts to have our water refilled were met with unyielding neglect, even after my friend's eye mishap involving chili oil. Requests for saline solution or eye drops, a reasonable expectation at any dining establishment first aid kit, were met with indifference, offering only "band-aids" from their meager first aid kit. Our attempts to exit the premises and resolve our bill quickly were thwarted, as it was unceremoniously dropped on our table, unsplit, and unattended.
The service we endured was nothing short of abysmal. I departed this establishment more incensed than I've ever been, vowing...

Pho King looks like your typical Vietnamese restaurant with a basic level of service. It was quiet when we came in for dinner on a Sunday night so it was a tense atmosphere for a little while but the delicious food made up for that.
Bánh Mì With Pork ($9.25): The banh mi is perfectly toasted. Crispy on the edges but soft on the inside. Flavors are subtle but there. Love their charbroiled pork which was the star of the show.
Pho-King Stone Pho ($23.95): This was pricey but worth it! You get a good amount of angus beef slices (4.3-5 ozs) that you cook yourself on a sizzling hot lave stone. Put butter on the stone before you put the meat on to avoid it sticking on the stone. It will still get a nice char mark and will taste so much better! I'm not sure what the other two sauces were but they didn't really compliment the beef. Now the pho bowl was huge and enough for 2 people. The broth was amazing; I didn't have to add additional any sauce. This was one of the best pho broth I had in Vegas!
Bún Dac Biet (Special Bún): This was also a huge bowl that could be shared. Lots of veggies so it was refreshing. The egg roll was alright, the shrimp was good, but the pork was the best.
Grilled Pork Chop ($7): Kinda dry and not that flavorful.
Shrimp Patty ($7): Comes with two fried shrimp patty strips which were hard and...
Read morePho King seems to be highly rated and recommended by the locals. We came specifically for the pho. We got there right when they opened and had high expectations but when it first came out, the broth looked darker than what I’m used to. Could be the bones simmering or too much fish sauce. Took my first sip and it was really salty which could be the theory of fish sauce or not so fresh broth. Had to balance it out with lots of lime.
Then we ordered the Pork patty rolls that came with peanut sauce. The roll was wrapped tightly with fresh lettuce, crunchy wonton stick and the pork patty. I’m used to dipping peanut sauce when the roll has noodles like a spring roll. So I feel like the peanut sauce did not go well with this combo and it was overly nutty and thick. I’m used to the grilled pork orange sauce.
The garlic butter Chicken wings were tasty and had the thin layer of outer crispy breading. When the plate came out, it hit me with a strong smell of fish sauce. After biting into it, I think the secret sauce is fish sauce.
Overall, if we come back, I would pivot to the other items on the menu like beef butter skillet, Bo ne, spicy noodle soup, shaken beef but never...
