Sal's Pizza — Restaurant in Henderson

I grew up in the area and have been coming here since high school when the only grocery store in the area was across the street. We played baseball at the park down the hill in the park there. I have always enjoyed going afterwards for a slice and a soda. Well after this Saturday my wife went in and ordered. It had to be the worst experience in the 25 plus years going here. The staff was rude to the point that my wife cancelled our order. For the staff to yell and say "how stupid is she the order says it will be ready at 1:45" while my wife is standing there waiting with her 82-year-old mother waiting outside is inexcusable. As a business owner in the same neighborhood, I could not stand for any of my employees to talk to or about a client in this fashion. It is the clients and customers that pay their salary affording them the opportunity to support their families. I was reluctant to leave a review based on how the previous ones were responded to in such a manner that is similar to how the staff acted. It was torture to listen on the phone while all this was happening to my wife, and I hope that others will stop going to this establishment and the staff will really get an opportunity to learn that their paycheck is not a gift, but it is earned, and they work for the customer.

As seen in the reply below. The person responding is not only very unprofessional but has zero knowledge of what is happening in the business. If they knew then they would know they had to refund my order and perhaps addressed this accordingly. People like this should be out of business and if you are in the area go somewhere else like IDK pizza where the food and service are way better. It is just up the street...

The only reason they get 1 extra start is because they have good wings. There seems to always be an issue with this place though. Sometimes they are great and most times there is an issue. I used to live there by there and that’s why I drive across town to get these wings. Not any more.

The last straw was today. Not only do they short me 5 wings, but they counted 4 clippings of the actually wings as wings. You know the part that has no meat on it.

As I do understand things happen, it’s how a company reacts to issues that keeps my business. I called to let them know of the issue. It not like I will drive across town for 9 wings. I just wanted to let them know. The lady on the phone basically called me lier. She said she talked to the cook and he counted 30 wings. I told her I will send a picture and she said no. I will give you 5 wings when you come back. No apologies, no care. She probably thinks I just wanted free wings. I told her just give the wings you own me to someone else as I won’t be back. Her response, “they will be here next time you come back”.

I didn’t even tell her about the clippings they called wings. I hope she gets the photo she didn’t want and has a real conversation with her people that lied to her.

A sincere apology was all that was needed. I try to support small businesses, but they fail the people that keeps their doors open. Unfortunately the big box stores know how to take care of...

Myself and a couple of my friends stopped here on the way out of Las Vegas because my friends from Henderson,NV recommended the pizza here. I personally wasn't expecting much because it was next to a gas station. But to my surprise we were all astonished at how incredible the pizza and wings tasted here.

Food: I ordered a Large cheese, 1 Large pepperoni, spicy buffalo wings, and 2 orders of cheese fries. I thought the pizza was amazing and my friends were saying how the wings here were better than Wingstop and Buffalo Wild Wings combine. I thought that the wings here were better than any wings I have ever eaten in Cali. The wings were at the perfect heat level and the sauce was tangy and juicy. I almost mistook my fingers as wings when I had sauce on them lol. 5/5.

Service: Overall, nothing to complain about. We were greeted immediately and our server was attentive. Our food arrived quickly. 5/5.

Atmosphere: There was two other groups there and everyone seemed like they were enjoying the food. The place looked normal and clean. The store smelled terrific and only made me more hungry. Had a big screen TV so I could watch some sports while waiting and eating. 5/5.
