Bruster's Real Ice Cream — Restaurant in Hendersonville

UPDATE: Went to take my youngest to a movie but due to weather the power was out all over Hendersonville. I had a $3.00 off rewards and thought about taking my son to try what I consider the best Ice Cream ever and when we arrived they were only accepting cash as the Credit/Debit terminals were out due to the power issues.

The Owner just happened to be on site and was all about finding new and improved ways to say yes to her customers.

I had a few bucks and with my rewards (She could not utilize the rewards, but made sure that she credited us for them). She made sure that the cash that I did have on hand would satisfy the bill.

Please Please Please if you are reading this review I would to see this place be so successful in Hendersonville, not just because they have the best Ice Cream, but also the amazing customer service that they provide.

Wife and I visited for the 1st time today and we were blown away by the customer service as well as the amazing ice cream flavors.

As we were walking up we met the Store Manager Shea and he was sweeping the parking lot (This immediately tells me that he will never ask an employee to do something he is not willing to do himself).

We sampled a few of the Ice Cream flavors and my wife was excited as they have ice cream flavors that use Oat Milk as my wife does not do regular milk.

Every flavor we tried was amazing and both Kyla and Hannah were as customer service friendly as they come.

We will return with our 3 kids as the amazing ice cream is def something that they need to experience.

Went for the first time tonight and the ice cream is good and the people were nice. I’m leaving a two star review because my son has celiac so we were very careful to ask what ice creams were gluten free. We were advised that only one had gluten so we were pretty excited. Ordered peanut butter with Oreo for my son (was told Oreos were GF), went home and enjoyed ice cream. I had a weird feeling so I did some more research where I found out it is not GF after all. When I called the restaurant to ask what happened the sweet girl said she was advised by her manager. I’m annoyed. My son is going to be in excruciating pain and I was so diligent in asking to make sure that wouldn’t happen. Super super disappointed in our very first experience with this location. We stopped by after lunch around 1PM. Drive thru moved quickly, which was nice. But, the whole ice cream experience was just sad. I ordered a peanut butter cup sundae, which completely lacked any candy topping, and it was more ice cream soup by the time it made it to my hand from the window. I love hot peanut butter and fudge just as much as the next gal, but I didn’t expect it to completely melt my ice cream. I’ve never had that happen before in all my times of visiting the bowling green location. I’ve noticed portions are smaller as well. My 4 year old made a comment about how she wished she’d of gotten more strawberry.
