Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Hendersonville

One of my only experiences at this restaurant, this time taking curbside delivery. First impression was that the to-go worker on the night of December 12 was abrasive, not even attempting and effort of politeness or hospitality. As a server and host myself, I understand how individuals may misinterpret these actions and speak negatively in a review, however this employee clearly could not have cared less. The usual argument of my pickup time being close to closing time cannot be made either, as I placed this order well in advance of my PICKUP TIME, which was also well before closing time. And this was not the first time I’ve had this same exact experience from this individual. Once I received my food and got to my house, I realized that the food itself was extremely under par as well. To-go is usually tricky as many people most likely do not handle it well in their car and cause it to become messy, however I handled it well and made sure it did not get jumbled during my transit. It was in the exact same shape from handoff to home arrival, said shape being chaos. My “boneless wings” were 90% breading and 10% chicken, and they happily covered the rest of my meal with their sauce. My southwestern egg rolls were uncut, rather than being cut as advertised, and the Avocado Ranch I was supposed to receive as a side was not included. My Big Mouth Bites, advertised to be fresh and full of toppings, were meek and lacked and sort of substance other than the buns themselves. On top of all of that, the Caesar salad, perhaps the simplest item in all of the culinary industry, was not a Caesar salad and contained a lettuce type of else what. Even the coke had already been watered down even by the time I sipped it from inside my vehicle at the time of handoff. I am immensity disappointed in my service and food quality and would strongly recommend pursuing a different option before considering the Hendersonville Chilis, especially when ordering...

Upon walking in the ac was PUMPIN, making the restaurant cold. I usually don’t mind but my partner was a bit uncomfortable. We were sat almost immediately, which was good and the hostess was nice. The place was pretty empty, I could tell there wasn’t many staff working. It took about 20 or so minutes for someone to actually come to our table with not too much of an apology and asked what we wanted to drink. Then it took another 15 minutes to actually get our drinks, and then some for a waiter to actually take our order. The food took time to come out, which is understandable since you have to cook it and all that. We ordered the 3 for me meal to share since we weren’t too hungry. Everything was brought out together. The food was okay, wasn’t too hot but whatever. We were almost done with our food and the waiter came and grabbed our plates out from under us even though he never asked if we were done, needed boxes, anything. I had my hand in the chips too 😭. There wasn’t much food left but I was upset that it was taken away without us being able to finish. It seemed as if they were trying to get us out quickly. He told us to pay through the tablet on the table and pushed it toward us as if he was urging us to do it asap. It annoyed me and my partner, and when we tried to leave a review after paying it kicked me out mid sentence. Overall we were “helped” by three different people besides the hostess, but I don’t know anyones names since I was never told them. I wasn’t satisfied with my experience at all, I definitely believe that there’s staffing issues and they need more workers. I get being short handed at work because I myself also work at a restaurant, and I’ve never treated any of my guests like this. I’m not a fan of leaving negative reviews, since I know people can have their bad days, but hopefully this review can help overall improving...

Went there Friday evening about 7pm, it was pretty dead for a Friday in summer. They got lucky with the several ball teams that came in to eat. Our waitress was doing good at first and then when the ball teams came in we were completely forgotten about. She had me and my husband and another older couple sitting behind us which she also forgot about. The last time she came by she asked if we needed anything and my husband had asked for another tea and because we were forgotten about he never got that 2nd glass of tea. The food was alright. I got the triple dipper and I got the big mouth bites which looked like they were thrown together and they didn't have anything on them other than barely a piece of cheese. When I had Gotten them before they both had a toothpick like stick down the middle of them to hold them together. They were supposed to have bacon on them and they literally barely had a piece of cheese and looked thrown on the plate. I then asked the waitress where the bacon was and she said its in there and I showed her it wasn't, she then brought me bacon bits. The food was alright all in all but the waitresses service wasn't, especially when we were forgotten about and we then had to ask the hostess where our waitress went and she said oh she had a large table come in she'd get someone else. I'm sorry but if you're a good waitress you don't leave ur tables hanging regardless of another larger table and she could have come by to let us know or even ask of we needed our check or whatever but nope we sat there about 30 mins waiting for her to come back once we were done, then finally asked the hostess what was up.
