I should give no stars but this restaurants saving grace is Veronica. Our order took several minutes to come out. We spent 25 bucks on 2 medium combos, a platter, and 2 additional side items. There was 3 people seated at tables ahead of us also waiting on their food. My sons pancakes were cold. The burgers that came with our combo were tasty but didn't look very nice. The seasoned curly fries were a little overcooked.
The second cashier who took our to go order was very rude and short when I asked questions about the menu options. We also ordered donut holes that came to us with almost no cinnamon and sugar. When I went up to inform the same rude cashier she held her hand out for me to give them to her so I did. She then proceeded to sprinkle the mixture on to the donut holes which did not stick because they were cold. I then asked if there was any sauce that came with the.... this is where she interrupted me and answered no. I finished asking my question "the onion rings" again she said "no". I was pretty vocal about how annoyed I was with my sarcastic "Ok" as i walked away.
That's when Veronica came over to us very professionally and addressed our concerns. She agreed that the situation was handled very poorly by the cashier. She apologized and provided us with not one but two bags of fresh and well seasoned donut holes as well as a fresh order of onion rings plus our to go order. Veronica apologized again and provided us with some coupons for us to come back.
We do live very close to this location and even though Veronica did make us feel more welcome we probably still wont come back because the food honestly wasn't all that great and certainly wasn't cheap. Between our 2 orders we spent a little under 40 dollars on fast food and a less than...
Read moreSaturday, 7/20, on way to Charlotte for my hubby’s Father’s Day gift that the kids graciously paid for! We just stopped at one our favorite fast food restaurants #jackinthebox in Hendersonville, NC for brunch.
We were at the register, and the young man seemed to be new. Unknown to us, he had overcharged us, but his co-worker Veronica caught it. She patiently explained how to correct it. I thought that was awesome!
We thank her and sit down to await our food. While waiting, I see a woman approach what appeared to be a manager (now known as Peter, the REGIONAL??) sitting at a table with two others. He listens to her complaint about them not getting her salad right.
He actually looked annoyed and she looked even more frustrated by talking to him. She sits down and finishes her lunch. I end up needing mayo, so I get it but stop to talk to the manager to give him the positive feedback on his employee.
His response was not thank you. He responded with “Veronica? Oh. She has her good days and bad days. She makes a lot of mistakes. Today is a good day. That’s why we’re here. We’re trying to add new people to create a better atmosphere.”
Are you seriously kidding me? I’ve NEVER had a manager respond like that. Is there some reason that he felt that he needed to tell me that? How on earth can he talk about building a better atmosphere when he is NEGATIVE?
If the atmosphere is negative, I’m assuming it’s because they have a manager like him. I’m absolutely disgusted by his response. The woman may make mistakes, but how about give her the positive feedback, which in my experience builds the employees up, promoting better productivity and better attitudes! That is poor management. He needs to attend managerial team building classes...
Read moreI placed an order at 5:36 PM and 5:39 PM today for pick up in the drive-thru. I arrived at 6:39 PM to pick up the order. I waited for 10 minutes without a response at the drive-thru. I drove to the front of the building and parked so that I could go inside. Both doors were locked. I tried to push and pull the doors but was unable to open them. I noticed a customer inside the lobby possibly waiting for their food as well. The person mumbled something to the staff to which someone came out 5 minutes later and opened the door. It a short lady wearing a grey uniform asking if I was trying to come inside. I advised her that I was trying to get my pickup order. Her response was “this isn’t my store.” She walked me into the lobby and yelled that I was asking about my order. The lady in the back kept her back away from us and said “they need to go through the drive-thru.” I followed the grey-uniformed lady out the building believing she had another solution. Her response again was that this wasn’t her store and she got into her car and left. At this point it was 7:00-7:05PM and I still had not gotten my food. I was tired of waiting and wanted to speak to someone to cancel my order. I tried calling the store multiple times but it goes straight to voicemail. The corporate office was closed so I wasn’t able to speak to anyone there. When I got through the drive-thru, I waited some more before finally getting someone to cancel the order. I’m unsure now if the order was actually cancelled though. Long story short, be wary when ordering at this location as you may have to wait 20-45 minutes before getting to speak to someone...
