Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Hendersonville

Over the last month or so we have eaten here 3 times and before that once a month or so. Each time over the last month my husband has gotten food poisoning from his bowl. Each time worse than before. I’m assuming it’s either the queso or the meat he gets. Which tells me they’re not taking items off the line when they should be and it sits for too long. Once the queso and the meat was barely room temperature. My burrito once when ordered with the app was just rice and beans. Not even a decent amount. My order was rice, beans, cheese, sour cream, pico and guac. The chips are almost always soggy and old. The last time we went they hardly cooked my daughters quesadilla and gave her the most pathetic servings of rice on the side. Like an itty bitty take out condiment container. While the staff was somewhere nice that time, the employee who made my burrito skimped on everything and I had to re-roll it when I sat down to eat it because he rolled it like a taquito then lazily folded the sides up on the outside. Mt husband got super sick after eating. my daughters food, his bowl and my burrito were so small we were still hungry after. Also the tortillas are so gummy and undercooked. When you bite into them it’s impossible to bite completely through and it stretches so much to the point where the contents just fall out on you. The only reason why we were still going to this location was because Moe’s and other chipotle’s are too far from our home to justify driving to when we want to just have a quick and easy meal. Save yourself the time and money and just go to Moe’s, Taco Bell or drive to another location. The frequency of the food poisoning alone...

I placed an order through their app today and one of the items that I chose was a build your own Taco kids meal for my daughter. I was already aggravated because they forgot to give us our drinks and then when he had to go back and get them. But then we get all the way home, which is a 20-minute drive to discover that they've completely left the meat off of our build your own Taco kids meal. I called the store which is almost completely impossible to get a hold of a live person and a very young lady picked up the phone. She proceeded to tell me that my only options were to come back and pick up the meat which had been another 40 minute round trip or I could have a number to get a refund. I don't think their mistake calls for my inconvenience. She took little to no responsibility saying that she didn't know what happened. Well, I can tell you what happened. Poor training and lack of responsibility for these young folks think that they can just slap food on a plate and that's okay. But that was my hard earned money. And not to mention my daughter didn't get her meal. Unfortunately. I think that'll be the last time that I eat at Chipotle and I hope the general manager or the area manager reads these to know just how poorly your staff not only prepares the food but how inexperienced and unprofessional the manager is.
