Food comes out quick, which might make you think it'll lack in taste, but fear not. The food is tasty and well seasoned. Visiting from Southern California I wasn't expecting much, but I was happily surprised. I had the asada taco. This would set a baseline. You can't mess up a generic asada taco. Meat was tasty, and salsa options were red and green salsa. Both are delicious, but I preferred the green, I usually do for tacos. Then I had a shrimp taco, I was expecting it to be a beer battered kind of shrimp taco, and I was wrong. It is not battered but still tasty. The shrimp to taco ratio was on point. They were decent sized shrimp, too. Finally, I completed my taco plate with the Korean BBQ taco. I had no idea what to expect, but man, that taco alone has me wanting to go back tomorrow for 3 more of those! Again, a great meat to taco ratio, meat was super tender, more on the sweet side, but it was complimented so nicely with a delicious Cole slaw!!! This taco didn't need any extra salsas or lime or seasonings. It was divine! My husband had their calicheeto burrito, as did my daughter, she was in hot cheeto heaven! "Chef's kiss!!" She says! She loved the jalapeños that were also in the burrito. I'm telling you, she was melting in her seat! My sister had the al pastor burrito. Her only complaint was that it was a bit too greasy and made it a little messy to eat. Several napkins later, she said it was worth it. I ordered the horchata Agua Fresca, and I could have used a little more ice when I got it, but they do have a self-service soda station where I was able to add ice to it. Overall, great food. Atmosphere was decent, you have cool art on the walls, I wish they had Latin music playing, it would be a great touch, or if they did have music playing then they need to turn up the volume a bit. P.s. for my baby/toddler mommas, no changing station available here. But they do have a few...
Read moreY'all. I'm from Texas and my parents are from So-Cal, so my standards for tacos are Extremely High. Along with the lack of great BBQ, I have been mourning the lack of good tacos anywhere near me, short of going deep into downtown Nashville.
Let me just say, the tacos here made me shed a tear with how good they were (and not just from the spice!) I haven't had tacos this amazing since I moved here, and I was instantly transported to home for a few minutes.
Also, the prices are AMAZING.
I tried the Carne Asada taco, the Al Pastor taco, and the Korean BBQ taco. The Pastor was my absolute favorite, with the Carne Asada being a very close, extremely delicious second. The Korean BBQ taco pretty much exactly captured the flavors of a bulgogi wrap, which I was very impressed by! But in future I will be back for those flavorful,...
Read moreWe tried this place two days in a row. I really wanted to try a breakfast burrito, and thinking the “big breakfast burrito” was only different for the size was wrong on my part. There was sausage, ham and bacon in it. I only wanted sausage, but it was on me for not knowing what the difference was. Went back today, and I tried the taco salad (without guacamole & tomatoes), and my husband got the Korean BBQ tacos and a California burrito (that burrito is the only thing I haven’t gotten a picture of). It was all so good and so filling! It’s also great that you can order non breakfast foods early in the day. So many places only do breakfast and then other foods. I do wish the location of the menu wasn’t directly above where you’re meant to walk through to order, but overall the people are nice and...
