Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Hermiston

So disappointed...I called in an order and the person that I talked with on the phone said my pizza would be out in 20 minutes and I told him it was carry out and he repeated again it will be out in 20 minutes and i said ok we hung up well 20 minutes went by and i go in for my pizza and the rude lady That was at the cash register told me that it was gonna be out at 7::37 PM and I told well the person that i talked to on the phone told me it was gonna be 20 minutes and this lady proceeded to tell me that the person that was on the other line was somewhere in Florida and they did not know what was going on locally and that the pizza hadn't been started yet and it was gonna be ready at 7:37 So I wait till 7:37 comes by and I go in for my pizza and the lady said well it's not even done yet and it's gonna be 10 minutes more and i told her then why put what time your pizza is going to be ready and the lady said well i dont know What is going on in the kitchen because I have not been back there and she asked me so do you wanna wait for your pizza and I told her you know what no I don't want it anymore and i left this pizza hut needs to get their acts together rude...

My family and I were traveling through and stopped in to have dinner, we arrived about 5:45pm and got seated about 10 mins later after waiting to be seated even though we were the ONLY eat in customers. Older guy seated us and got us our drinks, and then left. We sat and waited for almost 20 mins and still no one came and got our order. We can see to the front of the restaurant about 4-5 employees just standing around visiting and ignoring us, and let me remind you we were the only Customers. So we waited another 10 mins which made it almost 30 mins of being ignored, we gathered our stuff and walked out, and I told the lady standing up front while we were walking out I told her we’re tired of being ignored so we’re leaving. I called the restaurant and asked to speak with the manager and a lady named Bailey who said she was the manager, we explained how our treatment was at her restaurant and she replies back well my staff didn’t know you haven’t been helped! And her waiter did nothing wrong! I’m extremely shocked that this is a restaurant manager and She wasn’t even apologetic. I will never return to this location...

Customer service at Pizza Hut in Hermiston has really gone down hill in the last several years. 90% of the time there are long wait times even to get seated. It seems as though the priority are customers ordering out rather than the customers dining-in. The last time I was here we waited 15 minutes to be seated...mind you, there were only two other families dining-in. When the employee came up to greet us she said we didn't have to wait to be seated. Today I came in and keeping in mind what I had been told last time, we went ahead and sat ourselves, only to be told by an employee that we needed to wait to be seated because it was just her and one other employee working and the table we had sat at hadn't been wiped down. Things like this wouldn't happen if employees didn't lack basic customer service skills such as greeting or acknowledging customers as they walk through the door. I understand being short staffed, but employees should at least greet the customer and let them know they will be with them...
