No complaints about the staff. They were friendly and helpful. The food is good but somewhat overpriced. When I ordered I was given the standard restaurant placeholder which was supposed to blink red when my food was ready. When it did go off, my food wasn't ready. So I sat down for about 5 minutes and finally somebody just called out the number and I went up and got the food. Another standard complaint I have which does not just apply to this establishment is that they ask for a tip before they have even finished ringing up your order. This place is basically self service, from ordering the food to picking it up. Some people think tip stands for To Insure Prompt Service. The original meaning was actually To Insure Proper Service. If you put a tip on the bill before you have even been served your food it's kind of like petting a dog before it bites you. The whole point of a tip is to make sure that everything goes right from start to finish. That's why a tip normally comes at the very end of the meal. I gave my order to a person who in the middle of handing her $23.00 for a $12.88 bill started talking to her co-workers about another order even though she hadn't based me my change. She continued to talk to them until I finally had to ask for my change so I could move away from the register. She went to hand me $7.12 which would have been correct change had I handed her a $20 but I gave her 23.00 in order not to get a bunch of $1's. She insisted I only gave her a $20 and once that was resolved she had no idea how much change I was to get even though u told her I was due $10.12. She then raided her voice with me telling me she didn't make a mistake, etc... I've been a regular customer for over 4 years at this location and the service has ALWAYS been less than average. Today 's miserable experience takes the cake and I will NEVER visit this store again. As a former employee of Panera, I have personally had this happen many times at the store I used to work at so I wasnât too upset but they could have offered chips as a replacement for the inconvenience which they didnât and when we started eating our meals, thatâs when I was disappointed. The soup tasted a day old, which I know the familiar taste since I mentioned I used to work for them. The sandwiches had an odd taste to them especially the turkey avocado BLT (tomato tasted expired) and our salad just didnât look fresh whatsoever.
