TU Chicken — Restaurant in Herndon

Other than the employees here being very polite, I found myself super disappointed with the food. It's not Peruvian food as advertised, not even Peruvian style. The yucca were pretty much the only good thing on the plate. The seasoning on the chicken is not the traditional way at all. And the anticuchos were absolutely inedible, it ruined my appetite, and I was starving, but they were by far the most disgusting thing you could put in your mouth. I've tried anticuchos from various other places and this wasn't even close to the regular recipe. Neither my family or myself will be back to this place. I guess the only consolation is that they gave me my money back without me asking for it, they even offered other plate, but I declined. I love Peruvian chicken and have a few regular places I go like El Pollo Rico and Super Chicken. This place is nearby and gets good reviews so I thought I'd try it. What a mistake. I got a whole chicken and 2 sides for or $25 + tax and tip. The disappointment started when I got home and saw the two smallest sides I've ever seen come with a whole chicken. I was then shocked to see the smallest chicken I've ever had from any Peruvian place. And to top it off, it wasn't even good. Somehow it was both dry and still potentially not fully cooked. Worst food and customer service ever. Never had such experience. Went their with my two kids and ordered full chicken with 2 sides. They gave me cold chicken and my kids couldn't eat at all. When asked the cashier he said it just five minutes and even he didn't offer to warm it since they already turn off their rotisserie. Instead of say sorry he just arguing with me. I went this store multiple times. They when i left they just turned off their. I never post a review for any store but this store really felt me bad. Please don't go this store ever.
