Their beans and rice are both superb. Why does this matter, and why start the review here? Having great beans AND rice is required for any Mexican food place to have outstanding food. Both get used in so much of the items that if either isn't good, the resulting food is never great. My father is of the opinion that they have the best asada burritos he has ever had. I haven't had one yet, but it will likely be in my top 10 (Beans are my favorite food, and I have reviewed a ton of Mexican food locations, geez I do need to start a list). They have 3 sauces, sounds like there are usually 4 but only had 3 on my visit. All were good, the 2 reds had some kick, so be aware. Location is very clean, staff prepared my food quickly and as I had requested. Lots of dedicated parking. Did not notice a restroom. Will return in the future. Parking, entrance, counter, and seating were...
Read morePoor customer service, dude acts like he doesn't want to be there anymore. I stopped on memorial Monday per request by my wife, I warned her by telling her that I've stopped by there for lunch a few times, and it was disappointing. Regardless we stopped and ordered a burrito and off course he could not hear me from the speaker menu. He asked me to pull to the window for my order. After ordering our machaca burrito he asked if I wanted mild or spicy salsa. "I kindly replied spicy red please" He replied with a blank stare okay as he charged me. He came back 4minutes later with our burrito,,, worst machaca in many years. Not to mention after asking for red spicy salsa he gives us a green watered down salsa, with no flavor or spiciness at all!!! I'm done with this place once and for all!! What happened??Used to be very good food and very friendly people working...
Read moreOrdered a carne asada burrito and three taquitos. Basic Mexican fast food. It was disgusting. I pass by cause it's down my street and always thought the place looks like it serves processed food. I was correct.
The carne asada burrito was half cold- almost frozen. The other half was barely warm. I use a thermometer and got a 66° reading and dropping on one side and 72+ the other side. The three rolled hard shell taquitos where covered with unmelted yellow cheese. Not even appetizing, looked tossed together. The total sum was like $12.00+$0.75 debit fee... I got a little sick from the food to put it politely.
Save the trouble and just go to Cardenas around the corner, they have real good Mexican food made on the spot for a decent price. This place here- is what you give that coworker you...
