Tacos Choix — Restaurant in Hesperia

The quality of the food here is about 6/10. Fish tacos were pretty good, potato tacos were about a 5/10. Overall everything was decent, nothing really stood out to me other than the prices. I spent approximately $100 total on food and drinks and the quality of the food did not match the price I paid. ($15.00 total for 3 glass bottles of Mexican coke)

This establishment should really reevaluate their prices and maybe their entire menu. I do not believe the quality of the food matches the prices. I believe they may be guilty of price gouging. If you want to use your debit/credit card There is a 4% fee . 4% OF YOUR TOTAL . The more u spend the more u pay. So just keep that in mind.

I did also compare the pricing at other local Mexican joints in the area & their prices are lower than this place by more than 6%. So do the math.

Not hating on this place at all, they’re probably still trying to figure out how to stay afloat in this economy which probably explains why I was the only customer inside the establishment.

First and last time ever...

For many long years, scientists have argued, "What is the best taco shop in the greater High Desert Area?" Worry not dear reader, for I am here to give you that answer. Nestled next to a Barbershop and a Gas station, Tacos Choix is a bit of a hidden gem. You wouldn't really know it was there if you were casually driving along the road, which is tragic as it is here you'll find some of the best tacos in the city. The selection of tacos available is quite hefty, with some staples like Carne Asada, but they also have a few rarer meats as well (I won't spoil the surprises, you'll have to try them yourself.) The menu is pretty expansive, they serve Tacos, Quesadillas, Tortas, Mariscos, and a few specials that rotate out on a daily schedule. The only way you can have a hard taco is if you have it shredded beef because that's comes pre-made they do not make hard shells my friend found out. Then I ordered shredded beef tacos the three plate with rice and beans I get chopped steak not shredded beef chopped steak I go in and I say something and they're like oh well it only comes through the beef when you have the pre-made tacos everything else is chopped they didn't offer a discount they didn't offer to change my food they didn't offer anything and they're very expensive. Unlike everywhere else everybody else asses is that a service dog no they're exact words was we need to see your papers on your dog I said I don't have papers but here's the card and then I told him that it's against the law to ask for that technically because all they're supposed to do is ask if it's a service dog...
