5 stars – First time, and definitely not the last! My little sister and I just visited Tacos La Madrina for the first time, and wow — what a gem! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel so welcomed. Both of the female cashiers were incredibly kind and informative, and the cook greeted us with a big smile that really set the tone.
The food? Spectacular. In the High Desert, it can be hard to find Mexican food that feels truly authentic — a lot of places are overly “whitewashed.” But this place? This is the real deal. The menu is simple and easy to navigate, the salsas are on point, and everything tastes like it’s made with love.
Standouts for us were the potato taco plate (seriously, it was mmm amazing) and the queso birria tacos with consomé — absolutely bomb.
We’ll definitely be back....

My daughter, who has trouble with spicy sauce, ordered the spicy sauce on the side, but it came out incorrectly. What was impressive, however, was that the staff member didn't panic and brought out a freshly made taco exactly as ordered. They are very friendly staff. I highly...
