Great Cookies, But the Experience Could Be Better!

Crumbl Cookie definitely delivers when it comes to flavor — the cookies are soft, rich, and incredibly creative. I especially enjoy the rotating weekly menu, and there’s usually at least one flavor that’s a must-try. That said, some of the cookies are really sweet, even for a dessert lover like me. A little more balance in the flavors would go a long way.

Unfortunately, the in-store experience isn’t always as sweet. The staff felt rushed and a bit unfriendly during my visit. No greeting, no smile — just a transactional vibe that took away from the excitement of getting a treat. The service wasn’t terrible, but it definitely lacked the warmth and hospitality you’d expect from a specialty dessert shop.

If you want to try it, I suggest waiting. They were packed with customers and sold out of the chocolate chip cookies right after I placed my order. After waiting 30 minutes in a tiny tightly packed room, I received a very gooey cookie that was falling apart in the box. My family ordered different flavors and theirs were fine. I went back in the store and the replacement chocolate chip was also gooey. They must have pulled the whole batch out a couple minutes too soon because of the rush to fulfill orders. For the 2nd replacement I decided to just switch to the peanut butter cup which was okay but not great and definitely not what I was craving. The 2 woman working there, one with some kind of skin condition I think vitiligo and another taller woman were extremely rude and unhelpful. They gave smart responses and had messed up my order twice. I guess the cookies I had ordered (for pick up, so why were they available to choose on the app in the first place?) were sold out so when I asked for the available flavors because I don’t know the flavors she gave me the ones that were not available and didn’t clarify that it was unavailable so when I chose out of the ones she listed, she gave me a weird look and told me “that’s unavailable” in an extremely rude tone.
