Target — Local services in Hesperia

I arrived this morning around 8:30am to get a specific item. After arriving, I decided to get a few of the other things on my list to save a trip to another store. It was hard to find the stuff on my list. Idk, it was just weird the placement of things. For example, I was looking for Morton table salt, and I would think that would be located in the baking aisle. But it wasn't, so I had to try and find someone to help me find it. Then, the bread aisle was entirely clogged up with 2 guys stocking shelves, and I couldn't find what I was looking for in that aisle, either. Anyhow, another thing I noticed was, their carts are filled with trash and debris left inside of them. I don't recall exactly how many carts I had to pull out to find one with out trash. It's not like I could sanitize my hands after, because their sanitizer wipes dispenser nearby was empty. Yet another thing I noticed, and this is something they have a history of, they are placing price signs and tags on the wrong items to make them appear cheaper than they are. Today, I saw a 8lb bag of potatoes with a price sign posted in front of them for around $3.79 or so. Since they were advertised as being under 4 bucks, I grabbed 2 bags. Then, at the check out, they rang up for close to 8 bucks a bag and it was then that I noticed the 5 lb. bag of potatoes sign was conspicuously and clearly placed in front of the 8 lb. bags, clearly causing customers like myself to think we are going to be paying under 4 bucks, instead of the actual cost of around 8 bucks. Stop doing this, it gets old! Of course, I would probably try ordering online and doing their curbside thing, but I can't because when placing an order online, it does not allow me to take the $1.00 bag fee off and I'm not going to be going through hoops to get my bag fee taken off at the time of pick-up. Way too much hassle. Their kitchen utensils are way, way too far away from the grocery items. In fact, I couldn't even find them. One thing positive I can mention is, I'm aware that they do have a security guy. I did not see him today, but I have in the past. They should make themselves more visible. They have a few good items in their grocery store, but unfortunately, there's some stuff they don't have that will require you to go to another store for some things. You can't get everything you need at this store. If Target made just a couple small changes, they have the potential to be a much better store. They seem to have plenty of stockers, but they only had one check out lane open when I was there. When I was trying to ask for the location of items, I noticed a small group of Target employees standing in a circle like they were in the middle of a meeting. Great, while you guys are having your meeting, there are actual customers in the store who would like some direction. Finally upon leaving the store, I saw a gardener spraying pesticide/herbicide a foot away from my car. I am very sensitive to chemicals, so I found this really bothersome, especially since he was wearing full mask and gloves to protect himself, and I, the unsuspecting customer had no...

I received terrible service regarding Targets Value label Cat and Jack. I came in very enthusiastic after learning that any Cat and Jack returns within a year were not only accepted but donated. Upon entering store @ 915pm I head to guest services where I had to wait for an employee to appear. I let the employee know that I wanted to take advantage of thr Cat and jack return but unfortunately many of my items were birthday gifts from family. She immediately said she would have to call a manager because without receipt she couldn't help. After a few minutes Sam showed up and saw my items and said per her Store Director she would not accept my returns. I proceeded to tell her that I wasn't looking for refund I was wanting to donate items and receive merchandise credit to repurchase more cat and jack items. She proceeded to tell me that without receipt she couldn't help. I asked how I was expected to keep a receipt for a year and that some items were gifts. She dismissed me very rudely and very aggresive about not doing anything. I let her know I was not pleased and would contact target corporate to find a better resolution. She again said she wouldn't be helping me and walked off. I remained in the guest servuces area and called corporate and spoke to a lady who took the time to look into my target purchases and found multiple items and asked to get store manager who didn't want to help. I asked another employee to ask Sam to come back to guest services per corporate employee request. Sam came back very annoyed I was still there and seemed even more unprofessional to the corporate employee on the phone. She dismissed her as well I could hear entire conversation with corporate employee being my advocate and explaining to her that she should be able to offer merchandise credit as she found items I purchased on my account and other items were gifts. Again Sam refused and left the corporate employee understanding why I had to call in the first place. Sam then offered to get another manager as she was bothered by it all. was fired for being under the influence but they never did a drug test or seen any drugs on me they asked me if i smoked i said ye because i smoke cigarets then they asked what i smoke because i reeked. umm a fresh put out cigaret reeks, they asked why didn't i try to cover it up... umm why would i try too, i smoke cigarets...... then i went back to work for 30 minute and then the ETL Patrick came up to me and told me i have to leave for being under the influence. i was like odd but ok seeing i have a report with him and the integrity website and they told me to do what he say and they will look into it o why would i fight him about staying when it was just extra time they wanted to to stay and i already worked my 5 hours they gave me... i went home and next thing i knew i was getting fired... so what was the reason i was fired? under the influence of what? no drug test or evidence of drugs on me? look to me like i got fired because Patrick liked to harass me to get me to get mad when i wont do that at work... that didn't work o he made something up to get me fired......... please don't shop there the more you shop there the more items they have to put back and gives him more hours to give other if no one is there he cant get anything done... he needs to learn to treat his employees better and not like they are caged animals.... Store is only clean because there are like 3 of us that stay to clean it and now that I'm not there. there is only 2 people that will stay...
