My experience at Five Guys today on broadway was so unacceptable that it needs to be addressed. First off, the service was absolutely terrible. The staff seemed more interested in chatting with each other than acknowledging waiting customers. I stood at the counter for over 5 minutes before anyone bothered to take my order and when they did, the cashier acted like I was interrupting their day. Then came the food and honestly, I’m shocked at how downhill things have gone. The burger was a soggy mess, completely falling apart, with grease dripping through the bag. The fries were cold, undercooked, and tasted like they’d been sitting out for hours. For the prices Five Guys charges, this was beyond unacceptable. To make matters worse, the dining area was filthy. Tables were covered in trash, no one was cleaning anything, and the drink station was sticky and empty. If the front-of-house looks like this, I can only imagine the condition of the kitchen. This isn’t just a bad day this was a complete breakdown in standards. I’ve eaten at Five Guys before and had decent experiences, but after today, I’m seriously reconsidering ever coming back. Someone in management needs to step in and clean house literally and...
Read moreI have to admit before I would not think twice as to coming back here because it can not compare to In N Out, but as of recently they have really improved there burgers.
Prices are up there around $5-7+ for the burgers.
Before it would taste like some sort of metal in my mouth especially when it came to the fries. Maybe that is because they used peanut oil when cooking. If you are allergic to peanuts they cook there food with peanut oil and there are peanuts all around the place.
Thankfully the fries barely have that taste to it now, but there's still a hint to it. The fries come in regular salted or cajun. (Cajun is what I prefer most) They also give out a ton of fries in the bag. They don't hold back!
You are picking your own toppings on the buger and the "little" cheeseburger means it's a single and the cheeseburger means it's a double.
Truthfully now I recommend this place because they...
Read moreI went to this restaurant around 5 p.m. to get something for dinner. When I got there, there was one person who had already ordered, waiting for his order, and another person placing an order. I ordered just a hamburger and a milkshake. It took one hour to get my order. It seemed like there were plenty of employees working, but, as I watched them, I realized how incompetent and disorganized they were; it was as if Abbott and Costello were running a burger joint with the Marx Brothers. They kept making mistakes and having to start all over. I haven't had this problem at other Five Guys restaurants. By the time I left the restaurant, there was a crowd of people waiting for their orders and a line of people out the door, waiting to order. (Not ideal during a pandemic.) I am not sure if this is supposed to be a fast food restaurant, but this was too slow for any restaurant. They need to get their...
