Rey's Pizza — Restaurant in Hialeah

We went out of the movies around 1030 and went there following the GPS since is open 24 hoursb with the idea of sitting to eat ( cuban pizza in a cuban pizzeria ) but to start, the place looked and smelled horrible, so we decided ordering to go and sitting in the car while waiting, since we have had rey’s pizza at two other different locations and they were good so how much of a difference could there be between one location to another ? Well we were wrong! Pizza was really bad, it was like eating a piece of bread ( really dry and old bread) with some melted cheese and a few chunks of ham . It looked and tasted like an old bread or old pizza that was left behind and they reheated for us. Horrible pizza, and ambiance , never going back to that place, glad that was the only thing we ordered . The owners should start paying better attention to their business .

My order, purchased on my last visit, was far below the standards I would expect from an establishment such as yours. The dough was not just undercooked, but conspicuously raw – an indication of either a rushed cooking process or an insufficiently heated oven. More alarmingly, the taste and texture hinted at the dough being prepared quite some time ago, which raises questions about the freshness and food safety standards in your kitchen.

Given that Rey Pizza has been a favored choice for my family and myself over the years, this experience was not only disappointing but also deeply concerning. Pizza, a simple yet gratifying dish, relies heavily on the freshness of its ingredients and the accuracy of its preparation. On this occasion, both these elements were sorely lacking.

This incident has considerably shaken my trust in your brand, and I urge you to investigate this matter seriously. I believe it is not only in my interest but also that of your other loyal customers who may have endured similar experiences.

I look forward to your prompt action in addressing these issues. It is my sincere hope that no other customer should have to endure such a disappointing and unsatisfactory dining experience at Rey...

Crowded but fast service. Update Nov/22: I recently bought 4 pizzas. 2 cheese, 2 sausage . I was shocked when saw the prices. 40 dollars for 4 tiny pizzas with almost nothing but tomato on them. As far as I remember a regular pizzas was about 7 dollars and a sausage was a little more. This is outrageous. Not going to that place anymore.i couldn't even finish my pizza. Really poor quality despite the price rise. I could've bought 8 bigger, better pizzas across the street for that amount. I got really upset when arrived home and opened the boxes. Let's not talk about the Tip Suggestions on the bill. What a disappointment. I have to say I really liked the place but no more, never...
