My granddaughter and I visited on a Sunday after church. It was packed and it was only about 10:45 when we visited. However, there is plenty of parking. If the main parking lot is full, you can park in the adjoining parking lot in front of the department store. It felt a bit chaotic as the staff shouted out people’s names over the loud, bustling sounds of the diner. But they seemed to have a system that worked! There were lots of families there, coupes and some dining alone that sat at the bar. The food was delicious and prices were good for portion size. They serve breakfast all day, which I am a fan of! Our server was responsive and on top of things despite how busy they were. However, she may have been reeling the pressure of the crowd as she didn’t smile the entire time we were there. Nothing against her, just something I appreciate in a server… a smile. I had a delicious spinach and feta omelette that is marked as a favorite on the menu. I see why! One part of the omelette was a tad undercooked but not enough to warrant sending it back. My granddaughter enjoyed her biscuit and gravy as well as her hash browns. Will definitely be back to this establishment in the future!

This my first time eating here and it was pretty good! When we walked in we were greeted by friendly waitstaff who seated us promptly. The diner itself was nice inside, and the oldies music and pictures were like stepping back through time. We decided to grab the hot chips as an appetizer, which were delicious and very fresh. As a main course, I decided on the potato soup, chicken strips with two sides and Texas toast. My friend got the baked spaghetti and garlic bread, which she said was really good. My food was decent but none of it wowed me. The chicken was over fried and a little dry for my taste. The potatoes were real, but that cheap brown gravy gave them a strange flavor! The mac and cheese was so-so and tasted like something out of the freezer section. Next time I am up this way I will try something different! The service was excellent though, and the tables were full inside!

The food was hot and good! The service was quick but we did pick a time when it was dead. The diner was clean and has that old soda shop feel to it which I love! I just wish the staff played more of a soda shop role. The old soda shop staff was all about customer service and making customers smile. This staff was lackluster and seemed to just want to speak to us as minimally as possible. She did come to check on us though a couple of times...even though her face and body language said..."I don't wanna be here..." This could have been a 5 star experience if the staff had allowed that. However, despite the attitude of the staff I will probably go back because the food was delicious!!!

Let me start by saying the food here is always good. The service tonight was horrible. We were seated in the back room at the High Point location and it was freezing. Most people were asking to be moved to the front. We should have. We stayed in the back and had a horrible server. My husband ordered the country fried steak and eggs. The server asked if he wanted white or brown gravy and if he wanted hash browns or grits...all the questions that should have been asked. She left to place our order, then came back with my dinner salad. Shortly after that, she came back to the table and asked for our order. We told her she already took it. She said, "Took what?" We explained she had already taken our order. She looked at her tablet and walked away. When our food came out, my meal was correct, but my husband was brought a sandwich. We told her that was not correct. She argued that the sandwich was what we requested. We had even pointed to the item on the menu. She asked if he wanted something else. He asked for a biscuit with white gravy. She brought one back with brown gravy. When she came to refill our drinks she was pouring my water and the cup was overflowing, and she didn't stop pouring. I seriously think she was on something. She mumbled throughout our interaction and clearly things weren't registering with her. I know restaurants are hurting for help, but if you are watching and see your employees unable to do their job, you should provide additional training or get...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Carolina's Diner, and I am excited to share the delightful experience that unfolded on my Friday night visit. From the warm inviting vibe to the service, my time at the diner was memorable, with the standout star being the incredible Country Biscuit.

Upon entering, I had the pleasure of meeting the new cook, Roberto, who added a friendly touch to the atmosphere after a brief encounter in the bathroom. Roberto's passion for culinary excellence was great, and it reflected wonderfully in the dishes the cooks crafted, the true hero of the evening was the Country Biscuit with Country Gravy – an absolute masterpiece that instantly became my favorite.

The Country Biscuit, with its perfect blend of flakiness and flavor, left an indelible mark on my taste buds. This dish alone is reason enough for me to plan a return visit to Carolina's Diner.

Adding to the experience was the service provided by Margarita, the server. Her friendliness, and dedication to ensuring our comfort greatly enhanced the overall dining experience.

In conclusion, my visit to Carolina's Diner was an absolute delight, with the Country Biscuit stealing the spotlight. I extend my gratitude to Roberto for his culinary prowess and to Margarita for her outstanding service. Carolina's Diner has earned my loyalty, and I eagerly anticipate my next visit to savor more of the...
