I called in to order a pizza. The girl answering the phone didn’t know what they had. I called back 3 times. Then went to my local pizza shop with nothing on order. I cancel my pizza and the manger yelled at me saying I called back 12 times not knowing what I wanted. I told him the girl at the counter was not properly trained for her job let alone did not know all of the pizza places in the area and what they offer when I called a different pizza place. They knew exactly what I wanted and said we don’t offer that you need to call Romes. It’s poor customer service and poor management training. I do not recommend anybody use this establishment. I worked in hospitality for years. I’ve worked in hotels for years and I used to give people very good directions and explain to things around town. The fact that you’re dealing with customers people may call your shop and not know what they want, but it’s your job to know the location of the area that where you work and what is offered around your area Yes people make mistakes but is the customer service representative which is what she is she should know her job and know it well the fact that she can only dictate to what they’ve told her is relying on the manager to give her a better education understand what they offer and what they’re able to do Not just agree with the customer to make the sale which is what she did and why I’m pissed you don’t just agree to somebody and offer them something. They’re not expecting because you’re trying to make a sale even if you have to be professional and redirect them to a different location that’s just proper customer service and proper manners which he does not possess I don’t recommend anybody go to the shop, especially how after the manager of the company treated me Extremely poor. Very Big disappointment for High Point. I would expect the city to be a little better than most. It needs to pick up its classification of people and stop hiring people from the south side...

Here is my updated review. (The original is below.
We used the party room for our sons birthday party and everything was incredible! We were able to come early to set up with no objection or reservation issues! (This was a problem when speaking with other places!) The food we ordered was brought to us PIPING HOT, and delicious. (No surprise there!!) We had about 35 guests and there was plenty of room! I honestly recommend using the room for any get together you can think of.
My only suggestion is that they come up with a drink price for parties. We brought our own drinks and cups from the grocery store to avoid buying a drink for each guest. It was not a huge deal by any means but for guests who wanted tea or lemonade, they were out of luck. (Like I said, not a big deal for us. But in the future, I'd like to pay a set price for the use of the fountain machine to avoid having to bring in extra things.)
Nonetheless, we will absolutely be back. A lot.
BEST MARIO'S LOCATION.
We've visited 4 other locations and none have compared. The service is superior to any of the others. The restaurant itself is very clean as well as the restrooms. The staff has never been anything other than kind and helpful.
(Mebane location was a complete joke. Others were not terrible but N. Main location was notably BETTER.)
The food is always great and doesn't change just because someone else cooked it.
My ONE complaint about this location is that the bathroom does not have a changing station for babies. BUT of course, this is not a huge deal at all. I'd still rather come here than go to any other location.
This location also has the party rooms while the others don't. So...
Read moreI ordered for my non-gluten free company a pepperoni pie and it was pure grease. For thos who had celiac disease I ordered a gluten-free pie and immediately we knew this was a boxed and frozen pizza but highly overpriced $16.00 ! A month before I had bought a frozen pizza from Walmart that was gluten free and had to double check that it was gluten free. It was a regular sized pizza with allthe toppings and it was delicious. Marios deceived me into buying a frozen pizza that had a bitter tasting sauce that was highly acidic and immitation cheese and the crust was terrible and did not taste like pizza crust at all! I spoke with the manager and he told me "Too bad you didn't like it everyone else does." And then told me to have a nice day! REALLY? Fresh ingredients my FOOT! This is very deceptive and shows me that this is about making money and to heck with customer satisfaction! I was ripped off and was charged for a fresh made gluten-free New York style Pizza and got an I do not know what brand name, frozen instead! Does this sound like it is a well-run business? I wonder what other things they are passing off as fresh and it isn't; all in the name of the mighty dollar? It was my first and last time eating here and I am also thinking about the legal aspects of lying and not selling what you actually advertise? I write this to warn others to save your money and your stomach. You want New York style pizza the best is Elizabeth's Pizza or Lubrano's in High Point! For gluten free dominos actually has a gluten free pizza that surprisingly is made fresh and tasted a whole lot better than this one! Or Walmart has a great frozen gluten-free being that they are serving you frozen pizza anyway. You might as well save some money and enjoy a great...
