Update: I wish there were zero stars, because one is too generous. Tried to order again tonight hoping that this location had changed staffing and unfortunately Tammy is still employed there. Our order was suppose to be delivered by 7:54pm and at 8:05pm it still showed it was “cooking” so I called. Tammy answers the phone and says she tried calling me to tell us that they’re “out of the big box dough” (what??) and can’t make our pizzas. We received ZERO phone calls and she lied multiple times while on the phone with me. We called back and asked her to refund our order and it’s still not done. Also, while we were on the phone she told someone else that the “cook called out”. I read another review from tonight that said they “didn’t have drivers”. We’ve reported to Pizza Hut Corporate, the BBB and made an official complaint with the Dept of Justice. She not only refused the order but refused to return the funds. At 8:15pm I had to cook dinner for my family including my 6 yr old little one who should have been in bed and eaten by then. The continued lies and manipulation from this establishment is absolutely absurd. **Previous Order 6 Months ago**: Ordered online today; ordered two meal deals and another medium cheese pizza. The two meal deals, one was cheese only and the other was SUPREME. I received three cheese pizzas. When I called the store I spoke with one of the managers on duty, so she said, her name was “Selena” and she then proceeded to tell me that when I selected it I then “deselected” all of the add ons, which I did NOT. She kept blaming me the entire time we were on the phone and said SHE didn’t place the order, I did. I advised her that throwing the blame on the customer is absolutely poor customer service when on my receipt it clearly shows I ordered a supreme and I absolutely did NOT deselect anything from the pizza. This is ridiculous and a very poor reflection on this store.

When I finally got the store, the lady was rude. Shame of it is, we are 1 mile away, if they had simply let us know we could have come got it, but to lie over and over, no excuse. Oh and they are abusing the online site, they marked it as delivered so corporate doesn't know how bad it is. If you shop is setup to deliver, with no sit down then deliver, if you can't, let the client know.

But I want to give a compliment to the team for my order today. 10-8, 3pm (see image) I ordered extra/double pepperoni and banana peppers on garlic parm sauce, regular cheese. (Pretty much the same thing I always order.) This is the best pizza I've gotten in the year I've been ordering from here. The topping proportions and distribution was spot on and bubbles minimal! Keep making pizzas like this!!!

Unfortunately, this is one of the locations that should be avoided. Whoever owns this location, you need to walk into that store unannounced or pay someone to walk in and order to understand what's going wrong here.

Ordered takeout. When the order showed ready, I walked in. It took 5 minutes before a delivery driver walked in the front door and greeted me, and asked if I'd been helped. I said no and he tried to take care of me and my food wasn't ready. That's fine. I'm not a Karen. I have worked in food service. I get it. It's not always a pleasant job and honestly they don't get paid enough because people can be awful. I proceeded to wait 20 more minutes. Apparently it takes a total of 50 minutes to make 1 order of breadsticks. Mmk. I only got one of the folded pizza things and a double order of breadsticks and it was the other half of the breadsticks I was waiting for. It was NOT huge orders I saw drivers taking out, most people were getting a single pizza, most personal pans. Half my order sat in the heating thing behind the register for 30 minutes while I waited. The fresh sticks were bangin. The other half were harder and drier as was the folded pizza thing because they sat for 30 minutes.

So. The phone was ringing most of the time I was there. Woman "working" the register turned the ringer down multiple times. Didn't answer and put people on hold. Just didn't answer. When she answered the 1 time she did, she was rude AF to whomever was on the phone and told her she was just busy, sounded like the customer asked her if something was wrong. And honestly had any business talked to me the way she did on that phone, I would be ordering elsewhere. That customer didn't actually order, so they may have been thinking the same! Mind you, she was sitting somewhere I couldn't see her, off to the right when you go through the door to the kitchen, while I waited when I first came in, she wasn't busy working. She was more concerned asking the driver who came in after me if she could borrow money until payday. It felt like he was really having to try and coax her to get up and work.

Girl. You won't get anywhere expecting handouts when you treat people that poorly and also act like you don't need money by not working at work. I was able to work my way up and out of fast food because of my customer service. I came up out the mud. I had customers tip ME at McDonalds, which is not a place that regularly receives tips. Regular customers brought me little surprises when they traveled. I had 2 customers that sponsored Christmas for me one year, 1 bought my son a bike. Yeah the pay was trash, but I truly believe in time you get what you give. And I never treated people the way you did while I sat and waited last night. I was irritated from an extended wait but seeing how this store allows their customers to be treated, you won't be seeing our business again. To the driver who was holding it down, you deserve a raise and a better coworker. Her attitude is foul.

And whoever owns this location, go clean the inside and order some more delivery bags. Your good people need tools to do their job well consistently and your walk-in customers shouldn't be greeted by stink when they walk in. It should smell like pizza! I've been going to Pizza Huts for like 32 years now and none have smelled like anything other than pizza. Please do your job, train your order takers, clean your store. Order a pizza from the Pizza Hut near Stokesdale. And go pick it up. Then make your store like that. I can probably give you more pointers if you're interested in running a 5-star location instead of a 2 star location. My suggestions would be to address this post as well as the multiple other poor reviews. You are losing business daily until you either train your order taker or find one who's pleasant. No one is exaggerating in these reviews, it's bad. If you think I'm capping, go read my other reviews. I give credit where it's due and generously. And no, I don't want anything. The rating above exceeds what I wanted to give. This place deserves a negative rating at this point. I realized with Halloween it may take a little more time, but after placing the order last evening I was told the wait would only be 30-40 minutes. I was even willing to give them a little leeway time due to the high volume I would have expected. However, after an hour and a half with no updates, I was irritated. After another 20 minutes of trying to call the location (which the line hung up on me after attempting to speak with a real person - again, WONDERFUL customer service procedures 🙄) I gave up hopes of delivery and traveled to the location, where the rude woman working the register (possibly manager, but I sincerely hope not), rather than trying to assist right away, immediately brought up how many other orders they had in process. Once again, I understand that the place may be busy, but a little acknowledgement goes a LONG way. After explaining the situation, and at this point it’s been nearly two hours since placing the order, they finally decided to put things into motion, and somehow miraculously brought out the majority of my order. I had to ask to have the delivery charge refunded (which should have been offered right away, if not more) and another employee ensured me that my order would be fully refunded. We will have to see if that was a lie or not. I will also note that the pizza that apparently was just being put through came out cold and poorly made, as the taste was severely subpar, and did not include any of the sauces I had ordered to accompany it. I attempted to be understanding, but if the place is so busy, they should fall back on maintaining the peace of the customers they can serve and limit the number of orders they can take. They even had the audacity to mention how they only had 3 delivery drivers that night (based on the current levels of workforce and what I’ve seen with other businesses, I’d say that’s quite a bit). This place is by far an avoid at all costs location, and seriously needs new management & some severe training in customer service before I’ll ever even CONSIDER them again; hopefully others will see the same and join me in boycotting this poor excuse for...
