Sidelines Sports Grill — Restaurant in High Point

This place claims to be under new management but, it looks the same as it has the past 2-3 years. There are still no cushions on the seats or booths, there is no blind on the large plate-glass window so the glare is still intense and, the food still takes way too long to be delivered.

The food is still pretty good, really good in some cases. If they would just spruce-up the place I think they would return to their former glory (this place used to be packed during lunch when it was LA Grill). The only noticeable change is there is now only one booth and a pool table takes up about half the restaurant.

The wait staff seems eager to welcome you back and they have introduced some lunch specials. For now, they are open for lunch M-F. I really hope they are under new management and begin making improvements soon!

If you’ve never tried their chicken wings, I highly recommend they’re super delicious and they have several flavors to choose from the ones we decided to go with the teriyaki and the mango habanero which was super delicious and we also got some boneless wings. I did a Jamaican jerk sauce with They also give you extra ranch which was super awesome but overall they were real delicious and the prices reasonable not too expensive at all you would have to go online to look at their menu and their sauces. You do have to call a different number even though it’s inside the bowling place you have to go in separately to the bar to pick up your food order. I have heard that their burgers are also pretty good and they’re loaded fries, but I have only tried the wings. I would try to place your order not too late when the bar crowd gets in there because it’s difficult to get a hold of them sometimes on the phone but overall the atmosphere is very welcoming and we had...

1-11-24 Stopped in this afternoon because we enjoyed our visit 2 days ago. It was 3:53pm when my server (Nikki) advised me , from 4 to 6 or 7 or something all apps were half price. So I waited a few minutes till after 4pm to order. A half a pound of loaded boneless wings with cheese & bacon $9.99. After 4pm half price would be $5. That's what I ordered. I just asked her to hold the cheese & bacon. She said that would be ok. Then when she brought my check, I was charged $7.99, regular price for a half pound of boneless wings. I asked what happened to the special? She said that's what she had to charge ME. I think that's kind of misleading and screwed up. I'm thinking I'm probably not going back there again. They act real nice to you for a visit or 2, then stick it to you. Never again.
