I am bad about not stressing receipts, so anytime I go somewhere and hear a situation like the one I'll describe, it makes me cringe. We ordered a Doritos taco combo plain. My kiddo opens her food, and it has all the toppings. No worries, we had just pulled out of line and stopped in the parking lot. No way they had time to forget us. So, I get back in the drive thru. This same girl from 4 minutes ago asked for a receipt. I hand it to her and proceed to hand her the tacos, she says to keep them which I understood being a post COVID thing and she gets ready to say something and the manager says, "no we'll replace these because it was our fault". So, even though she had called the order back to me had she missed a key stroke I'd have been stuck paying for a replacement. Read morePulled up to the speaker at 7:37 pm. Placed my order. Three cars ahead of me. At 8:01 pm I finally made it to the window. A woman opens the window and asked what I ordered. I told her and she walked away. Comes back a few seconds later and asks me again what I ordered. I told her a second time. She tells me they are "about to make it". You mean to tell me in 23 minutes, three DLTs and a chicken quesadilla weren't done? Okay. A second woman comes to the window and asks me AGAIN what I ordered, then took my payment. A third woman comes to the window and asks if I ordered the Mexican pizza and something else. I started to say no when another employee yelled to her what my order was. By 8:11 pm, I was leaving the drive thru. There were at least 7 cars behind me at this point. I have no idea what the delay was but that was ridiculous!!
