Perfect Blend — Restaurant in Highland Park

The small corner cafe is a great space to sit, work, and sip a variety of different flavors of tea! I'm a tea drinker so I can't really speak on the coffee blends but they smelled very good. My only complaint about this place would be the cold greeting I received upon coming in the door and ordering my tea. When I ordered my tea the lady at the counter (who I think is the owner) said very coldly to get my tea bag from the other side. While explaining to her that this is my first time at the cafe she slightly rolled her eyes and starred as if to say "yea whatever come on". She just wasn't very pleasant to interact with for a Monday morning around 9:45am. However she was just a little more peppy to other consumers that morning(per my observation). Maybe she was just having a bad day or maybe I brought in a little too much energy for her liking. Or maybe that's just her demeanor. Either way the tea was tasty but my interaction...

Wonderful menu of coffee drinks, freshly squeezed juices and smoothies! It was my first time there so I ordered a simple latte, let me tell you, QUALITY COFFEE, I usually put sugar or honey in my coffee but this doesn’t need it, the flavor is great! They have dairy free options! I choose oat milk. I also ordered a fat free orange cranberry muffin, OMG the flavor And the woman warmed it up :) I saw MANY other bakery goods like banana bread and zucchini bread :) I can’t wait to try their espresso and chia tea next time I’m in the area. Extremely unwelcoming RUDE service. We came across this coffee shop while visiting Chicago. We placed an order with the lady who seemed to be the owner. I asked a question about one of the coffees on the menu and she answered so rudely I thought I was being punked! I asked her why she was being so rude and as she was slamming everything she told me it was because they were closed. I told her she should have told us when we walked in and we would have understood. This type of customer service would cause a place to run out of business here in California. Stay away...
