UPDATE: I love trying new bakery’s so I was excited when Sugarcoated opened nearby. Everything looked amazing! I tried a variety of their cookies, bars, and cookie cakes. Just like in life, everyone deserves a second chance. This is my third time at Sugarcoated and my second review. This time everything purchased was wonderful and baked fresh. I went for the first time a few days ago and it was excellent. They have a wonderful variety of goodies, and I bought several things. The slice of cookie cake with icing was outstanding. I also loved the "Funfetti" cookie with icing - absolutely delicious. And the S'Mores bar was great too. Owners Allison and Hillary were extremely helpful and friendly. I will definitely return to try some other things, but will have to have another slice of that...

I love this bakery! My wife stops here for me once in a while when she works in Highland Park. Staff is always super nice and they honestly have the best cookies I’ve ever had.
