This was my first time ordering at this location, so I'm giving benefit of the doubt and chalking this experience up to miscommunication amongst the staff. I made an online order for curbside pickup, which I included the color, make and model of my truck. I pulled into a curbside pickup space and clicked "I'm Here" from the email that was sent. The email also stated my order would be ready by 6:57pm...I was there 5 minutes early. At 7:10 I clicked "I'm Here" again as no one has come out with my order nor had anyone come out to check on me. 10 more minutes go by and I decide to go inside to check on the order. On my way in another customer was on his way out and asked me "Are you Phillip by chance?" Which I replied "yes". He then stated they had been calling my name for about 10 minutes. Obviously this irritated me. A very nice young lady asked if she could help me and I told her the issue. She turned around, found my order and gasped with irritation when she saw my name and immediately apologized profusely. I could tell she was upset they had missed the fact that I was curbside. My irritation is that when choosing the curbside pickup option, as opposed to picking it up from inside, you're expecting someone to come to the car right? Of course by the time I got home (only 5 mins away from the store) the food was cold. Please pay more attention to the receipts and and practice a bit more due diligence if no one claims the order after you've been calling their name for a while. They may be outside. This experience will not keep me for eating here again as I hope this was a one...

Today they got my order wrong and my wife’s soup was cold. They also put very little meat on my sandwich. They also didn’t give me a pickle.
I asked for yellow mustard instead of the stuff they usually use. I don't know why that is so difficult for them to do. They have always messed this up, about have the time.
Over the past few months, even before the renovation, we started noticing things.
The new renovation has left the dining room void and lacking personally. I have seen the cafeterias at junior colleges that were more welcoming.
We typically go to McAllister’s about 3 times a month. There was something wrong with the service every time, over the last two months.
BTW- I hated it when they took away the chip selection. All they serve now is some off brand gourmet chips. Before, about half the time, I would get Frito’s or Cheetos. The rest of the time I would just get their regular house chips. If they even still had their former house chips I wouldn’t complain. I liked them just fine.
I have been taking my own chips, with me, over the past 5 visits.
My wife and I have decided that we will no longer dine at what was our favorite. When our kids come to town, they like to go there at least once. We will recommend elsewhere...
Read moreI placed my order online for pick up during my lunch break. Upon arrival I notice the order is not in the pick up cubby so I sit in the waiting area to wait for my order. After waiting for about 30 mins and watching other patrons come and go, I go to the counter to ask about my order (which at this point was placed 40 mins ago). The cashier grabs the order from the end of the counter near the teas. I check my order, the food is noticeably lukewarm, the lemonade is watery... instead of putting the order in the pick up cubby or simply acknowledging the person waiting at the pick up area, they let me and my food just sit there... and like 15 feet apart at that! I’m baffled. Is it laziness, ignorance, or incompetence?? In the 30 mins I was sitting there I saw 4 different employees, two of which were managers! I was so angry I couldn’t speak, knowing that whatever I would say would not be nice. I’m extremely disappointed by this... it really could’ve all been avoided. A quick pick up turned into a sad, cold meal and an overall bad taste in my mouth for this locations...
