Unfortunately having to update this review. My last 3 trips to this location have been pretty subpar. I won't be going back. The first time I went for lunch and pre-ordered through the app. When I got back to my office half the order wasn't in the bag, and the tacos tasted like they had accidently been sprayed with cleaning fluid. A month or so later I swung in for breakfast, the drive through was very slow to respond and took a considerable time to make the food. I wrote this off as them having a bad day. Then this morning I went through the drive through for breakfast again and was greeted with "give me a minute please". Sure no problem, until I realised the same person who told me to give them a minute was on a personal call in the parking lot. After about 5 minutes she comes on the speaker to take my order and gets it wrong. Just 2 tacos and a drink mind you. When I pull up to the window she comes to take my money after a few minutes and then i wait. I was checking emails, so I'm not sure how long I waited but it was long enough for the 2 cars behind me that hadnt paid yet to give up and leave. After I got my food I took it back to my office and the tacos taste like cleaning fluid again. Had to throw out both tacos. I won't be back, and with the many quick taco choices around I'd recommend you find another one to go to.

Was excited something finally opened at this location. And have enjoyed food from the 410 location before. Walked in and the restaurant was clean and the server taking our order was friendly. Went downhill from there. My wife and I got al pastor and fajita street tacos. Both were full of grizzle and fat. And then about halfway through our meal, an employee, sitting two booths away, thought it was appropriate to FaceTime someone and talk loudly on her phone. Fail. P.S. to the Manager: some people don’t want to see Fox News on the two TVs in the dining area. Pick something less controversial, Genius.🤦‍♂️👎 Update Nov 24: After getting delicious tacos from the location at the Forum, we again decided to try the 281 & Brook Hollow Taco Palenque to go. Our kids order was shorted a bean & cheese taco and just like our first visit, the meat in the Matamoros tacos was full of grizzle. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION.

We came in for a quick bite after work. We were excited to talk and enjoy a nice meal. We ordered at the kiosk and awaited our meal. I’m not sure why but it took over 15 minutes for us to get two quesadillas. When we got our food it was greasy and we needed to soak it up with napkins. We also ordered a drink which was missing. I had to go up to the counter and it took 5 minutes for someone to finally acknowledge me. Food was okay, nothing special. Steer clear of this location for now. Go to the Evan’s/281 location.

this is the third time I come to this restaurant, this location and I order tacos and they give me cold and hard tortillas when I ask the manager, he tells me that is how the taco comes, I asked for extra tortillas to exchange the tortilla for a new tortilla and he refused to give it to me, he wanted to charge me for the tortilla, I understand it is a business, but I definitely do not recommend anything, ya taco Palenque in the kitchen the employees I do not discriminate , and i dont have any preferred musical genre, but in the kitchen they had the music at full volume, we could not even talk to the restaurant and they are listening to bachata type music, really believe me it was not a pleasant experience. I really like going to that location , but lately Taco Palenque has lowered its quality, I don't know what's going on, but I hope they pay more attention, I will definitely stop going to Taco Palenque because when I told the manager if he could give me another taco because they serve it terribly and the portions are very small, he told me no, that I had to pay for it and that well, he couldn't do anything, that those are the rules that he has and that this was, that was a business and that in the training course that was indicated to the manager, definitely a very bad experience. Thank you...

Unfortunately this location missed the mark when it comes to fullfilling orders. Parking lot is clean and well lit. Inside is clean, but the it ends there. The smell of Fabuloso was overwhelming. Ruins the taste of the food and appetite.

I was greeted by friendly staff but not a one speaks English and could not get my order straight or answer a question. I begrudgingly just dealt with what I was served.

Gave this location a second chance. Same situation. The cashier pretended he understood my husband. Instead of coming home with what he order which was a Casero taco on a corn tortilla, again, we received the wrong order. Although the “taco” was hot, it was not what was ordered. A chicken with cheese wrapped in a flour tortilla is not even close. I think everyone deserves a job, but your business needs to man the cashier position with someone who is able speaks clear English.

I so wanted to love this location, but it’s a miss for me.

When I have gone to other locations, the food has been good and correct.

When you expand too much…you’re lowering your quality.

And to whoever responds to the not so favorable reviews, please come up with a better response than I see repeated exactly to each lower review. Because nothing is changing. I keep having the same experience at...
