The Hollow — Restaurant in San Antonio

Well my review has changed. This bar has made major improvments since my last review of a couple months ago. First off i would like to say there beer is ice cold. I had the nachos and they were amazing, i didnt expect that place to kick out the nachos it did. I expected some beans and melted cheese however they were much more. It was not just cheese it was a delicious queso and they were loaded with toppings fresh, great presentation. The women working at the bar are all gorgeous and they do not just try and get attention for tips. They all know how to bartend and treat everyone equally. The music is point, the vibe is on point. They have the lone star skillz games which is the reason i stopped there in the first place, and seems like everyone is always winning. Great place to play games like Golden Tee, Darts or pool. But be prepared to never get served. Unless you’re at the bar counter you get ignored. Myself and 5 guys were there for 2 hours tonight, the ONLY time the bartender came out from behind the bar was to cash us out because her shift was over.

The chicken strips were gizzards I’m pretty sure and the burger ….well I guess it was meat between two dry buns. No sauce or seasonings. Fries were good though. There was also a guy at the bar that was CLEARLY OVER SERVED yet she kept on pouring them. The guy couldn’t walk to his truck without help. Sat there for 20 mins without getting served. The couple next to me got two rounds from the time I sat down to the time I got up and left. Bartenders taking shots with multiple shots with customers and not even acknowledging me. I understand some bartenders take shots with customers which is fine but when you’re sitting there for 20 mins it’s annoying. The bin where the remotes for tv’s was about a foot away from me and the bartender went to change the tv’s twice. And didn’t even seem to notice that I was right there and waiting.
