We live nearby and finally decided to check out this local pizza place. (You really can only have so much MOD or Papa Murphy's.) When we arrived we were able to find upfront parking easily and right away. When we entered the restaurant it wasn't super crowded and we were able to order immediately without waiting in line. We told the gal at the register that we had never been there before and she was able to help us order what we wanted. We ordered the largest size of Hawaiian pizza and I told her I wanted, "All of the pineapple." so she added extra pineapple to the order but didn't tell me that it would cost me several more dollars. We also ordered garlic knots and one fountain soda. My total for those 3 things was $40. While we were waiting for our food I walked around. The pizza place has a mixed vibe. It's like half cafe and half sports bar. They have books and cards and boardgames available for public use. They also have lots of sports memorabilia and a sports tv. They also have a foosball table which you don't really see anymore so that was cool. The eating space is small, maybe 8 tables. But the people that were there all seemed content. I recommend getting a soda only so you have an excuse to go check out their soda dispenser. It has pictures on it that are hilarious. There are also other puns and jokes around the place. We waited something like 15 minutes for our order. We took it home to eat. This may be personally biased but I was disappointed with the pineapple to pizza ratio especially considering I had paid for EXTRA pineapple. Anyhow, the food was good. Not exceptional but definitely solid good food. We...
Read moreI'm going to go with describing this pizza as "fine". I have had far worse pizza. I have also had far better.
I was disappointed that they had a conveyor instead of a proper pizza oven for this style of pizza. They're never going to have any leoparding on the bottom of the crust. I've seen reviews that describe the crust as crispy with a chewy interior. There wasn't anything crispy about the crust as far as my definition of crispy goes. It was chewy, though. If I can fold it in half like a pita, without any cracking whatsoever, that's not crispy.
With that said, I could eat here again if somebody wanted to, but I certainly don't need to go back. Today was a recon mission to see if it would be worthwhile for my wife to try it. This stylof pizza is her least favorite, and this example would rank very low on her list.
I find it commendable that the owners give away free pizza to those in need. Best wishes to your...
Read moreI am so happy that my favorite Society Pie has a second location near my house.🥰 The dough is totally different from other pizzas. The outside is crispy and when you bite into it, the inside is soft and chewy, so good that I have no interest in other pizza restaurants anymore 🤤 I love that I can choose my own toppings and sauces. I would definitely eat here again when I'm in the mood for pizza.🍕 11/29/2023 This time we had the Caesar salad and the 14-inch Supreme pizza. We sometimes go to other pizza places that have good reputations, but the pizza here is still outstanding and unrivaled.😊👍 The prices are reasonable, but the taste is top-notch and excellent.🍕🥰 12/09/2023 My husband brought me a pizza takeout because I was feeling under the weather. I wanted to eat pesto sauce, so I got a “Build Your Own Pie” this time.🍕 04/02/2025 (Wed) Feta's Betta (18" $32), Garlic Knots ($5.50), Caesar Salad...
