I visited for the first time during Portland Wing Week 2021 to try the Pad Thai Wings (pictured). They were fantastic! I would say that they were my third favorite, overall, after having tried ALL 24 participants. This was my fifth stop, on the day that I had them, so I was already pretty full, and tired, and the fact that I still really enjoyed them, speaks to their quality.
These crispy, fried chicken wings feature a medium-spicy pad Thai sauce, with a slow-building heat, and are topped with green onions and crushed peanuts.
The Pad Thai sauce is made with chili paste and soy bean oil, ketchup, tamarind fish sauce, chili oil, brown sugar and crushed garlic.
I particularly liked this one, because it was a familiar flavor profile (Chicken Pad Thai) but in a different format, and it was very different from all of the others, I have had, so far, this week. Also, the crushed peanuts were just genuinely pleasant.

Read moreEdit- Having returned several times in the last few years I've felt guilty about my review below as the place has definitely won me over. I'm going to leave it for posterity but update my rating.
Yesterday was my 3rd time in. My second time in I was charged $420 for a $20 tab. I was refunded a few days later, no big deal, just glad it didn't happen at the end of the month...it happens
Yesterday, I got a beer and attempted to place an an order for 12 wings. The server politely informed me that for dine in I'd need to use the QR code to install a 3rd party app to even place an order. This app asks for location permission, wants an email address and either a Google pay account or your credit card information. Nah for me today dog. Amazingly the billing system worked fine when I cashed out for my beer. Interesting that I could place an order at the register my last 2 visits...with only a minor hiccup.
I'm trying to give you money prime, dont make me jump through additional hoops, while I'm standing at the register. I'll be down at the other local where I should have been in...
Read moreWe came for the crispy chicken wings - and were not disappointed! The beer selection is also very good, though very heavy on the IPA and Pale Ale side of the spectrum (as everywhere in the PDX metro these days). There were also lagers, brown ales, porters, and a few sour options and cider options. There was even a CBD non-alcohol option. The atmosphere is brought down a little bit by all the hard surfaces amplifying the sound level. There's a single bartender (Nathan poured our beers and took our food order), so they stay busy.
My wife and I tried the salt & pepper with veggies wings - think pepper salted squid, but with chicken instead. We chose bone-in, which we prefer - but boneless 'wings' are also available. We also tried the Dragon Dust dry rub and the Thai dry rub (it had bits of fresh cilantro). Everything was delicious. We made immediate plans to come back the following week, and bring friends! The only downside is that the kitchen shuts down at 9 PM (even on a Friday night!), so don't expect late...
