Peet's Coffee — Restaurant in Hillsboro

Baristas here are rude as hell. They always get the orders wrong (ONLINE ORDERS! They are reading these orders online so its not a verbal miscommunication) it's annoying because i like to get coffee/tea before work and if they cant read simple directions on order it makes it very difficult to tet to work on time.

I can understand making mistakes, being busy, and trainees making mistakes but what rubs me the wrong way is they are rude, roll their eyes if you ask them to fix their mistake. I am sorry to say but if you cant read a label and make a drink at least dont be an ahole about it.

Their coffee is good... I’m giving two stars due to the staff. The last two times my boyfriend and I have went, they close earlier than they are supposed to. We went Wednesday, their hours are 5-7pm. We arrived at 6:45pm, 15 minutes before closing, there were people inside. But when we tried to open the door it was locked. Next time we tried to go, it was on a Saturday which their hours are 6-7:30pm.We arrived at 6:28pm, and when we walked in we were stopped by an employee who said that they were closed?? A whole hour early?? Right after we walked out the door he locked it. The hours posted online and on their door are the same, they close at 7pm Wednesday’s and 7:30pm Saturday’s. My friend and I had an early flight from St. George, Utah to Portland and we stumbled across Peet’s Coffee Shop on the way to Cannon Beach. My friend’s coffee was excellent and my tea was wonderful. Our experience there was exceptional because of a sweet employee named Addison. Addison went above and beyond to accommodate us. I ordered tea and mistakenly forgot to specify that I wanted iced tea. Addison had made me hot tea but she was more than happy to make me a fresh cup of ice tea and gave me extra ice and the hot tea so I could have a refill later. She was so delightful and accommodating. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stop at this cute...
