Maurices — Local services in Hillsboro

I browsed online prior to coming in to the store, checking to see if a specific pair of pants would be in stock. I’ve worked retail before so I understand that what may be listed online as in store may not actually reflect in store stock, but I was willing to risk coming in to check. I asked a sales associate, showing her the photo of the pair of jeans I was looking for. This specific pair I had actually seen on someone else and they said they purchased it at their local Maurice’s store! They were so cute, I wanted a pair for myself. She was friendly, but told me they didn’t have that exact style or any wide legs like it, that it was probably online only style. I said no problem, and looked around at other things.

I found the exact pair of pants I had asked about a minute later, though not in my size and many other wide pants styles. I felt that she either was not well informed about what was on the sales floor or noticed I was different than the typical clientele and made the wrong assumption that I wouldn’t be...

I had the best experience at this store tonight. I had a terrible couple of days and I was feeling pretty sorry for myself when I walked in here tonight. I was greeted by a wonderful sales associate who immediately complimented what I was wearing. She was so sweet and bubbly and genuinely asked me how my night was going. When I expressed that I was in a funk, she continued to try and cheer me up and make me laugh. She came back a second time to do the same thing. She answered all of my questions in such an upbeat manner. You could tell that she really enjoyed working at this store, which speaks volumes for the company in itself. For her superb customer service alone, I will continue to shop at this location only. Every time I have come into this store, I have had a wonderful experience with the staff. Another big win at Maurices! I am a tall woman, and finding a jumpsuit that fit properly has been a real struggle. Maurices had EXACTLY what I was looking for at an amazing price. It's so wonderful to have a jumpsuit that fits, is well made, and, has pockets! The store staff were so warm and welcoming and were very happy to give me suggestions on ways to style my new jumpsuit. I went right home and tried out some of their suggestions, yielding even more joy.
