I came as delivery driver, but actually I’m an international mystery shopper evaluator.
Presented myself. Waited for the order. After 10 minutes order late than original pick up time, I came to the bald guy expoing food. Asking him the accurate time for food to be ready. Something every chef knows about, specially on restaurants like that. This guy was very unprofessional and impolite. Discriminating me:” your are just some delivery guy.” “Your order is not my priority.” And so on. A customer came support me. Saying she saw what happened and apologizing for his behavior. When I asked for a manager, he said he was the manager. He really made a ridiculous scene. Not emotionally prepared to be a leader and his behavior was registered at all times. He was screaming, doing gestures and acting like a gang leader. Simply ridiculous.
The experience on restaurant was terrible. Case reported over phone and email to board. And sharing to society. As this guy is working and on uniform, the reason his picture is shared.
As a mystery shopper, we show up low profile and evaluate everything. Specially how company and employees treat people. Never disrespect anybody thirsty lion. You never know how is their professional background and experiences.
As no management answered the report so far, looks to me they support such behavior. Nice place. Bad management.

What happened was serious act of discrimination. He thought I was just someone without background or knowledge. A delivery driver is an independent contractor. The person is linking your business to your clients. He has the right to evaluate if will stay or not if restaurant is delaying the order. Also this person is responsible to report customers on hold any updates or delays regarding their order. Also the delivery company he is working with. This person deserves respect. And clear communication.
Except this guy, everybody was cordial and your place looks to be nice. I would reconsider having this guy as a leader. Or employee. Also that you review video footage for improving your...

Had multiple staff members check in and each one made each interaction meaningful and memorable. Want to add some additional information not reflecting on any staff that served us. One particular person that greeted us (and greeting is putting it kindly) was very disrespectful during the two interactions we had. He ignored us, then when informed we had a reservation completely disregarded us and walked away. We then asked the young women working the front stand with him if she could help us. Reluctantly she walked us over to our table. When asked why the other person stormed off, she informed us that there was “drama there”. She was kind enough to seat us, so much appreciated on her end. We then went on with our night trying to enjoy it. We soon had drinks dropped off by the amazing server and the disrespectful person we interacted with at the front door was cleaning the table right next to us. I very kindly asked him for a coaster and he very disrespectfully said “respectfully I have no interest in speaking to you” and he stormed off. Definitely added a small taint to the night as we had no idea why he was so disrespectful to us. Luckily the rest of our night was amazing due to the rest of the staff being absolutely perfect! The food at thirsty lion is delicious, good quality for the price, and I love their cocktails as well. If we left it there I'd rate 4 stars, being relative to our area.
The problem is that every time I have ever visited this location, there is always something that goes wrong or is made incorrectly, and the service is very hit and miss. The only time this didn't happen was my first visit to the Tigard location.
One visit we had our waitress be completely rude and avoid our table, despite our being friendly in every way. My girlfriend's food arrived cold and with too little of a portion, they compensated her meal, but did not bring more food and she left hungry. The waitress was made to begrudgingly say sorry once we spoke up
Last night we visited. The manager saw it was us and made sure to seat us right away. The service was not bad, but once again the food arrived cooked improperly. My girlfriend's turkey club arrived stale, and the rice with my salmon was filled with uncooked crunchy bunches. We didn't feel it was worth it to try to speak up this time, and if we do visit again we will try the Tigard location.
This location always has a full house dinner rush, so they aren't in a hurry to fix these issues. I just feel that people should know that they handle these rushes with less competence than I've seen at say, buffalo wild wings across the lot.
