Hi there says of late I’ve seen advertising for your sandwich shop and I seen that they were doing. I buy one get one free for all the meatball sandwich subs that y’all carry. It’s just to my coworker. Hey let’s go check it out. It sounds great right download the app make an order. See that there’s a bunch of things that I really just wanna try end up getting something completely different from the buy one get one free after ordering it through the app drive to the store 30 minutes away get there thinking oh my food should be ready. It says it’s ready Walk inside. There’s no food ready. Ask one of the coworkers behind the desk if they know anything about it they say it’s coming right up. It’ll be up shortly. I sit down and I wait 20 minutes go by one hour later after ordering everything arriving and trying to get it resolved I go up there and I ask if their order is going to be ready anytime soon they reply to me does someone came in and pick the order up I did not order for delivery. I didn’t even give an address for delivery. I order it for pick up for me to go inside to pick it up so after one hour they tell me that they don’t have the product to make the sandwich that I requested so I just wanted my money back. I wasted it over an hour to drive to the location to not have good communication through the employees that are there working to try to make sure that the food is going out and not relaying it back to me. Poor service poor communication This business will be out of business in 3 to 5 years. There is no words for the amount of disappointment I have after I try to do something for myself and never do. I’ve kept myself to the point where if I try something new as failure and this is just yet another reason why people don’t go outside of their comfort zone to try something new Because it...
Read moreI have had many bad experiences as a customer here over the last two years, downtown, in beaverton and in hillsboro but I just ignored it because I liked the sandwiches so much. I have some really good friends that work here and I wanted to work here as well so I interviewed. On my application I listed the past jobs and volunteer work I have had ( I haven't had any customer service experience). They asked about customer service experience on my application so I said I didn't have any. I attached my resume that listed everything I have done and I listed the job I had in my application. Almost immediately interviewing the girls said they didn't have access to my application or resume and then they accused me of lying because I said on my resume that '' didn't have job experience'' I double checked my application and resume I attached to see if I attached my updated resume and I did. I called back today and asked what I could do better on my next interview. They told me not to lie on my application and that I needed to put my phone away. I didn't have any pockets and needed to get in contact with my mom at the end . I didn't look at my phone the entire interview. I am extremely disappointed with the attitude I have gotten from managers and employees and them accusing me of lying even when I double checked that everything was correct. I was excited for this job interview and I have no idea what else to do to give a complaint about the mistreatment and service I have gotten. I hope you treat your employees better than this and anyone you interview in the future better than this. I am very disappointed in this...
Read moreTake it from someone that worked there for 5 years, this place is horrible. Not only do they have terrible management and treat their employees like garbage (and take into account I've worked in food service for 18 years and seen it all), this place is worse than subway at this point. Nothing is prepared and or sliced fresh (if you've payed attention to the wording on the menus, as we all noticed working there, they've done this carefully by rearranging and changing phrasing), for example they changed to pre-packaged and sliced meats & cheeses all except for one meat so they can still say "freshly sliced". They sold it to us employees as "it will be easier & less time consuming! More convenient for you guys!" even though we were disappointed as we would eat there everyday as you can't leave the building on what legal breaks you get. The bread is frozen and sent to them from a outside distributor, much like everything else. All the soups are carried over from the previous day/s for who knows how long to save costs and aren't even labeled with a date so they could be in the same holding container for a month possibly. I should've taken the advice I got from a prior Potbelly workers family member in Whole Foods when she said to leave & that they hate Potbelly, but I was still new and actually excited to say I worked there. Lol. Now, you couldnt pay me enough to eat or visit there, but ironically, I'll still gladly take the checks I still recieve because of the huge managent mess plus more that was happening and ultimately led to my departure. Thanks Potbelly! Zero...
