Subway — Restaurant in Hillsborough

I didn't notice any real difference in this 'new' menu than the one from a few months ago. Of course, for decades the Subway menu has not been like nor as good as the original one. The BMT has been for years the only sandwich that kept a name related to the image of "Subway". I am glad it has survived the 'rejuvenated' business. The workers were nice but I felt that the fellow taking my meat order was bothered by my placing the order. The fellow who added the vegetables was very exact and friendly. The cashier was ok at checkout but was pretty brusk when I asked for extra napkins. "They're in the bag!" he said rather fussedly. He did grab a few more and thrust them into my hand and immediately dismissed me by turning away. I do not like the latest decor. It does nothing to enhance the name "Subway". The original walls had depictions of old real maps of the New York City subway system. Having spent some time in the City, I always tried to sit next to my subway stop. Then the walls changed to a less visible display of the system but, the walls still complimented the restaurant's name. You should return to the original theme of your restaurant instead of slipping farther...

My last visit to this subway was kind of unpleasant. The manager Tom was very rude when I requested my turkey go under the pepperoni (to prevent drying out in the oven). His employee apparently didn't understand what I was trying to say because she barely speaks english. He asked me why I was making things so difficult. I wasn't, I simply just wanted my turkey under the pep...not hard instructions? I know you are trying to save on labor cost, but please hire people that speak and...

Hands down the best Subway in the area ever! This subway reminds me of the Subways of the past that made delicious sandwiches!!! The bread is always soft and fresh, toppings are fresh and plentiful.
