Taco Bell — Restaurant in Hillside

Before i start this review let me say i don't like giving bad reviews but in the case i felt it was necessary, And yes i am well aware of the pandemic we are all going thru but that is still no excuse for the service that was provided to us. We went to this taco bell on 7/26/2020 drive thru of course We ordered 6 meals and received 3 1/2 meals. After repeating the order to her multiple times she still got it wrong. Upon getting to the drive thru window she gave 4 drinks i asked where there other 2 were she said that was it i hadn't ordered anything else. i again repeated to her that i had ordered 6 meals total she started to give me an attitude and tell me i was wrong and cursing me off. I decided to leave and not further escalate the situation. I returned home to find i had actually received 3 complete orders and 1/2 of another. The drinks were watered down and i don't mean because of the ice. There was no taste to them at all. Please beware of certain employees at the taco bell. Never going there again. ...

My standards for Taco Bells are pretty low, and I only care about a few essential things. This Taco Bell meets all of the standards I hold any fast food chain to.

It's clean (newly renovated so it's actually a nice place to eat in), so it's nice to gorge on my cheese-filled tortilla-and-meat knowing that the only smell my nose will take in is the stench of my gluttony.

It's fast. I mean, during some big rushes, service obviously slows down tremendously, and I have been there a time or two where things have become embarrassingly slow for the "fast" food aspect.

It's good. This means quite a bit, because I've been to Taco Bells where the staff seemed to have missed the training seminar where they teach how to roll and fold burritos and quesadillas. The food definitely doesn't come out looking commercial-worthy, but it doesn't come out obstructive to eat.

The revamp of this location was to their benefit. Aesthetically, all fast food has gotten architecturally lazy, but this location benefits by feeling clean and roomy in the interior. There is ample parking, ample space to eat within, and Taco Bell has been quietly working to expand their menu and quality. This is a good example of a Taco Bell location, and if you've allocated enough time to have your order taken - you will find the experience pleasant enough. Baja Blast soda is tasty and because it cannot be easily found, its often worth getting the drink for the novelty.

I give a 5-star because of the aggregate of elements to the experience. It is not a perfect place, but for what Taco Bell is you will receive adequate service. and you won't be softlocked to a bidet.
