I understand that everyone is adjusting to this situation and we're all doing the best we can. But that doesn't excuse lying and trying to hurt someone else. On Friday I arrived to the store to pick up an order for a customer (I dash for Doordash full-time, among other platforms) and there was a considerable wait time, which I expected. After a while I called to check progress and was told ten minutes. Twenty minutes later, I was told ten minutes. At this point in time, before I was even close to late, I had already told my customer that with the way things looked, there was a strong possibility that her food would be late but I would let her know when I left. Fifteen minutes or so after I was told that they were bagging the order up, I received a phone call from my customer, asking what my ETA was. I let her know I was still waiting as the other patrons around me started to voice their frustrations in approval, only to have her tell me that she had called the restaurant and they told her they had no idea why she didn't have her food because they had sent me on my way already. As I voiced my disbelief at the situation, the woman at the restaurant rushed the bag to me, making it clear by her demeanor and expression that she knew she had been caught in her life.
If this wasn't clear to her, or any other places, one bad review from a customer does much more harm to a driver that a review on a restaurant... And more importantly, we are in a difficult time and people understand as long as you communicate! They intentionally made it look like I was going against a handful of items in my job description and code of conduct instead of just saying that they were backed up but getting it out as soon as possible.
Hopefully this is informative for others in this situation when ordering or...
Read moreI hate leaving bad reviews, especially for local restaurants, but I feel I have to leave this. I ordered sushi from here for take-out (they don't do dine-in for some reason still). I have had sushi all over the area and in many places across the US during my travels, and this was literally the only time I could not eat my sushi. The fish tasted very very off, almost rotten (both salmon and tuna). I tried a few different pieces and all were the same, so I threw out my rolls. My wife got vegetarian rolls, which she said weren't good but were at least edible. Lo and behold, a couple hours later she ended up getting sick from those sushi rolls. I wanted this place to be good, and maybe their other food is decent, but based off these other bad reviews, I will not be going back. It is worth driving the 15 minutes to Lansdale or Perkasie for...

Definitely won’t be ordering from here again. I tried twice giving them a shot because by the looks of it they’re not allowing in-house dining. I ordered for a pickup at 12:00. I came at 12:25 and they said they couldn’t find my order, then “found it” after I told her what I ordered, she rang the order in right in front of me and then went back to make it. I ended up leaving at 12:45 finally. Another woman came in who called in her order and the woman working said she didn’t have any orders for her. They’re the only place in the area for sushi, but I’ll definitely be traveling to Lansdale for sushi...
