McDonald's — Restaurant in Hilton Head Island

This is by far the worst mcdonalds I have ever been to. My family and I ate inside. We put our order in at the kiosk, took a number, and sat at a table. Instead of bringing the food out they yelled out our number. We picked up our food and was missing several items. My wife went up to the counter and waited while 2 other customers got waited on. I went up and got the ladies attention that was running the food from the back to the counter. She was very rude with me. I tried to explain what was missing and she walked back to the computer screen to look up our order before I could finish. Then she stayed there hollering back at me and said she can't hear me because of the noise in the back. It couldn't have had anything to do with the airpod in her ear. My quarter pounder couldn't have been made fresh, because it was cold. My daughter ordered her fry without salt. It was one of the items missing and when we got it, they were over cooked and salted. My wifes fry and mine came without salt, but we had ordered them with. The lady only gave me one salt pack. The hot fudge Sunday was melted down and not filled to the top (probably was made earlier and sat). I would have went back up, but I didn't want a conflict. She seemed edgy like I did something wrong by bringing up the mistake. The lady seemed to have potential but needs educated on proper customer service. I'm glad I don't live down here, because if this was my only option for mcdonalds, I would...

Clean, recently renovated and good service. It's hard to give any McDonald's a 5-star since though they continue to improve the quality if their food, the taste and quality still doesn't fully compete with other options in my opinion.

The signature Artisan Chicken Sandwich is actually restaurant quality with fresh produce, quality seasoning, an artisan bun, and quality chicken. The buttermilk chicken tenders are made with higher quality chicken, but the fried exterior is rather dry and bland tasting in comparison to a Chick-fil-A or Bojangles.

The french fries haven't changed in many years, so people know what to expect as long as they are crispy and not too soggy, like this location had.

With no other fast-food option with a play place for the kids within 8 miles from Coligny Circle, I'm surprised this McDonald's chose not to capitalize on the opportunity to add a play place to bring in the traffic of families looking for some solitude and a place for the younger kids to play when visiting on vacation and it is raining. We ended up taking this food to a local beach park and waiting for the rain to stop, but would have spent much more time here if they had a play place.

Overall, this is a quality McDonald's that we would most likely return to if we needed quick fast-food that we knew the kids...

Very unhappy with customer service and food quality. Today at 1:40 pm we went to go order some food, and we were not given a very pleasant experience. The lady who asked for our order was answering in an incredibly rude tone and her bad mood was written all over, but we pay, and move on. Then when it’s time to get our order, we made sure to ask for extra sauces of ranch and buffalo, which the lady working assures us it’s there. We go to the corner and check our order to make sure we have everything, and as we do, we realize we only got 2 sauces, which were both honey mustard rather then the ranch and buffalo we’d asked for. We calmly went back to ask for the right sauces, as it wasn’t much to ask for, but when we did, the lady serving sucked her teeth at us, squinted her eyes at us, and kept mumbling a lot of things in such awful manner. The manager ends up giving us the sauce in a much nicer manner, and we left. This service was incredibly upsetting, as we hadn’t been mean towards the workers or even acted as if we were upset towards them. About a month ago or so we’d went to go order some food and one of the sandwiches had moldy bread, along with a rude worker who didn’t believe the bread was moldy and talked to us rudely for it. I definitely don’t recommend this McDonald’s to anyone. Extremely...
