I initially came and ordered food for my family , I ordered a 4 piece chicken and cheddar bites for my oldest, upon arriving home, we have one finger in the bag for him that's it . I ask him to get the receipt from the car to check how many we were charged for, they charged me for ONE chicken. So I drive back up there because now my 14 year old has nothing but one finger to eat .. upon arrival the place is still out of control like it was when I was there, the first time. I go in, an addressed that I didn't recieve my cheddar bites and was only charged for one finger , when I said 4. The cashier told the woman in the back to go ahead and get the whole order , she asked if I had the receipt and explained what I just stated , she rudely states no you need to charge her. Like ma'am I just spent 10 mins driving back up here because you forgot my sons food. Another woman tried to intervene and tell her, hey I need 4 fingers , the white lady in the kitchen again asked why and she said it was left out of a meal and she said I already told him he needed to charge her. I said I don't care I just need the food for my child. (Keep in mind I arrived here at 750 with my complaint, I recieve the chicken I had to pay for at 8:08 at 8:18 I'm still waiting on my cheddar bites that the cashier has called for 3 different times. A woman who someone referred to as Amber's sister was sitting next to me waiting to pick up her nephew , Elias, or Elijah. . She agreed how unorganized this place was tonight.. it was the audacity that woman had to charge me for chicken when I had to wait in that store for my food they forgot for 30 mins. (That really baffles my mind when I say it again) This I'd assume rude manager who didn't know how to run her shift was a white woman with long thin black hair, lots of tattoos and piercing. Of course noone has a name tag so I didn't get her name. Very disgusted with her behavior as a manager, someone needs to teach her customer service, Just cause you don't know how to run your shift doesn't mean you have to be a B to...
Read moreI am a witness. ...and My wife is writing this review. .. I (Mrs. Smith) went to your location on Jimmy Lee Smith Pkwy in Hiram Ga. And the young lady at the register kept touching a broom handle and sweeping the wet floor in the food preparation area and when a customer came up to order she NEVER washed her Nasty hands..... she did this repeatedly. She kept opening up customers orders and put her nasty hands on and near their food having NEVER WASHED HER HANDS!!!! The sink where she could CLEARLY WASH HER HANDS WAS NEVER OVER 6FT FROM HER AND SHE NEVER WASHED HER HAND. At one point another employee came up that was attending to the dining area and asked her to wet the cloth she was using to wipe the tables and the trays down and the young lady behind the counter took the cloth and dipped it in a MOP BUCKET which had dirty water in it and gave it back to her and she the wiped the tables and trays down with that NASTY cloth. Once the young lady had done this and dipped her hand in this dirty water to wet this cloth for the other employee, I said..... ok SURELY SHE WILL WASH HER HANDS NOW!!....... AND YOU KNOW WHAT???....SHE STILL DIDN'T!!!! WOWWW!!! She went right back to handing customers orders and seemed very UNCONCERNED about any of it. I DEFINITELY WILL NOT EAT HERE AGAIN AND I WILL BE CALLING CORPORATE ABOUT THIS ISSUE. IT'S NO SHOCK THAT YOUR HEALTH SCORE WAS 88..... IT SHOULD BE LOWER THAN THAT. I Paid too much money for my meal and I was very unhappy. The only reason I took my meal was because I don't believe in causing a scene and putting others on BLAST IN PUBLIC Places because I wasn't raised that way. My next review is with the BBB. Read moreMy 16 year old son has been working for Zaxby’s for about 3 months. During these three months my son worked after school and on weekends for this establishment, picked up extra shifts and has done his job well. General Manager Matt, has been nothing but a tyrant to the young black boys and girls who have been hired at this establishment. Some may call what I’m doing right now petty, or without merit. Today June 11, 2023 at 2:51pm, Matt fired my 16 year old son who went in to work this morning at 11am for the theft of a medium box of French fries that as Matt told me was made before the store closed at 11:pm but the employee’s including my son were still cleaning the Resturante until after 11:40pm. This is food that would have went to the trash at the end of the night. I am giving this establishment one star only because I feel that if you are going to hire children period of any race at these establishments you should know how to teach, and treat them. I also hope that the parents of the children who are being hired at this establishment will check in with their children and hear what they have to say about the general manager Matt. My son has been complaining about him from the beginning, but I told him that there are difficult people everywhere and to deal with it but we also have to stand up for these kids because my son could have been one of yours. thank god that I raised my son to be a strong black young man, because this is something that could damage the self esteem of a more delicate minded child.
