Hiram Dog Park — Attraction in Powder Springs

They took the small dog area out of the shade now both dog parks are in the sun no shade, no place to sit and no water for the dogs. They’re working on the bathrooms there and one worker said redoing the whole park. Should have at least left the benches. I’ve seen nicer parks and this one is not one. This dog park was great! Idk if the bad reviews were a factor but it was, sadly, empty at 2pm on a Sunday in perfect weather! (The bad reviews are all for the little dogs parts anyway.)

But the large dog section is great! Huge open space with different play sets (type of hoops and areas you see competition dogs walk up and down). Hopefully there will be more...

We took our dogs to the Hiram Park. It’s a beautiful park that needs maintenance. The small dog area allowed my 3.5 pound Yorkie to get out of the gate.
