this used to be my favorite sushi place—i’ve introduced many of my friends about this place. but after my most recent experience, i’ll never be coming back. it’s crazy because after me and my husband got food poisoning here, we still came back. but to reiterate, after my most recent visit, they’re never getting my business again.

1. the sashimi is cut poorly and doesn’t seem fresh. either something about the chefs or quality of fish changed—i used to be able to eat a lot of sashimi here but now i can barely eat a few pieces of salmon. also, if you order mainly sashimi, they will purposely cut the pieces small. even if you only get a few pieces of sashimi, it is still cut poorly and in odd shapes. it seems like the chefs put mediocre effort into the food.
2. this is about our most recent experience. we got the same server we usually do and in the past, she was alright. she used to get our orders wrong sometimes but it didn’t really bother us. however, i don’t know if she was just having a bad day today but she was really rude. first, we order a decent amount of food but i guess it wasn’t enough for her because she kept repeatedly asking “is that all?” “anything else?” and would look annoyed when we say that’s all we were ordering for now. after she took our order, she started tapping her pen repeatedly, excessively, and super loudly at the server desk. after she took our third(?) order, i heard her complain to the chefs in a pissed voice about how me and my husband were just ordering food one by one. (for context, we didn’t want to overorder since there is a waste fee so we would order two dishes at a time. the restaurant wasn’t busy either. the server had THREE tables including us.) also, the server complained to the chef in a dialect that i happen to understand so imagine all the other times she has complained about customers IN FRONT OF THE CUSTOMERS to the other staff. i didn’t want to confront her to avoid unnecessary conflict and i doubt she realized that i heard and understood her perfectly. we didn’t even order that much food but we decided to just get the check after seeing how rude she is. she doesn’t introduce herself so we don’t even know what...

I will start off by stating that this review is based off of service and not the food. The 4 times I have been to this restaurant the food has been amazing, very good quality and very fresh. What I have had a problem with is how my family and I were treated. On one of our visits we ordered the all you can eat sushi for 2 adults and 1 child (10 years old), the first 2 times we didn't have an issue with receiving the child price, the 3rd time we were asked if they could measure my sons height and weigh him to see if he qualifies for the child price. I refused and explained that I had received the child price for him on my last 2 visits and that it wasn't an issue. My family and I decided to try it one more time last night, we did not ask for the child price to eliminate having to go through the same ordeal all over again. We received our food, again it was amazing in every way. The end of our meal comes and the waitress asks if we would like to take home the last 4 pieces of sushi, we explain to her that it had a sour taste to it and that we really didn't like that sushi roll (tried a new one we've never had before), she informs us that we will now have to pay an additional charge for not finishing it. Before we could speak she went over to talk to another gentleman, she came back and said never mind. What kind of place has these types of policies in place? First your going to discriminate someone because if they are to tall or don't meet your weight requirements you will make them pay more? After reading all the great reviews decided to give this a place a try. Went there for dinner last night for my friend birthday. Called in advance to make a reservation for a party of 8. When we arrived we were taken to a private room which was nice. Waited a bit for our waitress to take our order. The food came quickly after we placed our order. We noticed a bunch of the stuff was given to us which we did not order and there where things we ordered which was completely missing. We ordered sashimi but instead they gave us that sushi version which came with rice. So I feel like they were trying to be sneaky and to fill us up. Then also notice even though it’s an ayce sushi they limit you to 50 pieces of sashimi and they sashimi was diced up into cubes and not slices of fish. So it’s like u in reality they dice the fishes into about 3-4 pieces as compared to regular pieces of sashimi so even if they say limit 50 pieces you getting like about 10-12 pieces for the price. When we were ready to order more we waited over 30 minutes before they even come back to take our next order. The quality of the fish was just ok. I guess for $28 a person you can’t really expect high quality sushi. If I’m around the area and craving for sushi I might return but I would not travel out of...
