Great Wall — Restaurant in Holland Charter Township

If I could give 0 stars I would! We walk into the restaurant and the first thing we encounter is the man behind the counter yelling at a gentleman in the lobby asking about ordering. The man working is yelling about a two hour wait and waving papers/receipts in the air. The man just left speechless. Next was us to order. The man says to me what’s your number. I explain I have no number but here to order. He tells me he is too busy to take my order but points at a phone number for me to call to place my order. I call as I’m standing in the lobby, but the number don’t work. I let the man know the number he is telling people to call don’t work. He yells back, “two hour wait, then use website”. I left and didn’t bother. HORRIBLE...

We decided to try this tucked out of the way little restaurant. It's a good place to get quick, decent Chinese food to go. That being said, we went against the flow and ate in. I ordered General Tsao's chicken combo, and my husband ordered the broccoli and beef combo. Both combos came with pork fried rice and an egg roll. Our meals looked great, and the broccoli was as delicious as it was beautiful. My husband liked his dish, and I thought mine was pretty good. The rice is pleasant, wasn't sticky and was a good base for the chicken. This will be a good standby for us in the future. We go here for their lunch specials which include soup, for $5.25. Their food is good that is why we return, however the staff is unpleasant and they appear depressed. Today we ordered 2 lunch specials to eat in and at 2:59 I wanted to place another order (I was having difficulty chewing my first order) and take this one home. The clerk (male this time) told me that lunch specials end at 3 pm so I couldn't order it. I wasn't pleased and he was out my money, so who wins? No customer service whatsoever.
