Visited 04/04/2023. Used their mobile app to place the order. The order was later than the time that I specified. Double bacon cheeseburgers were good, take a hard pass on the onion rings, ranking as the worst I've ever had. The chocolate shake was small.
This location is rather odd, they have a huge parking lot, multiple entrances to the store, and a large dining room, and I'll note that I could not connect to their wifi despite multiple attempts. The location of this restaurant is kind of hidden and does not have much visibility from the highway. It is never busy and I frankly wonder how they stay in business. They seem confused about a dine-in mobile order, like they don't do them often enough to be familiar with them. The staff were kind of neutral. The drive-in did seem busy and I'll guess that's where they derive most of their income from. The atmosphere inside is a little off. And a note to parents and grandparents, letting your kids/grandkids run laps in the dining room is not cool and tells me a lot about your parenting skills.
06/15/2023 visit, placed a mobile order and arrived just before 19:00 to find the interior locked. The necessitated a long wait through the drive-through. Order was incorrect, missing some extra items that I ordered for the burger. The staff was unfriendly and looked like they wanted to be somewhere else. Filed a complaint online and received a $5.00 credit on the next order. So, what gives with closed lobbies? I have now experienced this with several different chains during the last 6-months. Is it a staffing issue? The answer to staffing issues is to raise the pay. I've been to another chain restaurant that only allows orders when inside using the kiosks or mobile orders. What i happening to the restaurant business?
Some seemingly random notes:
The double bacon cheese burgers are miles above McD's version, the BK version has so much more flavor.
This location has not been remodeled in a very long time and could use a reboot. There are three locations in this market and I don't believe that any of the three have been remodeled.
Don't waste your time on ordering the mozzarella sticks, Arby's sticks are about 3-times the size of the BK version.
BK could use some more shake flavors, including seasonal varieties.

Read moreWhile driving through Holland I stopped at this Burger King, even though the last time I visited this location the food was cold. I went through the drive through and ordered three sandwiches and a large onion ring, one of three sandwiches I ordered was a rodeo cheeseburger (which comes with onion rings on it). While waiting for my food at the window I noticed the girl working the drive through spill my onion rings onto the heat table they put the finished sandwiches on, by no means a food contact surface, and then pick them up with tongs and put them back into the container. Then after the onion rings were in the bag I watched the guy making the sandwiches talk to the girl bagging the food and then she went into the bag and presented him with two onion rings to make my sandwich, two onion rings I bought and paid for. All of this made me check the onion rings as soon as I received my food. The large onion ring was only filled half way to the top so I told the girl I wanted a new onion ring that was filled properly. As I turned the onion ring box to show her how underfilled it was the box tipped in my hand and the onion rings fell out. After I waited a couple of minutes the guy that was making the sandwiches, which turns out to be the manager, opens the window and rudely tells me that I'm not getting my onion rings or my money back because I spilled the onion rings. He then threatened to call the cops because I wanted my money back. Worst possible experience at burger king ever. To top all of that off, the rest of the food wasn't even warm.
Not the best BK. Fries were cold and hard. Cheese on Whopper was not even melted, burger was cold. The decor was great, very spacious. Drink fountain was dirty and in disrepair. Staff was friendly, although, the gentleman working the counter had a very large shirt on, untucked. ...
Read moreI really done know how BK is still in business!! Never is enough employees working. They have to hire anyone that is willing to work aka a person that is breathing. Dining room is always messy (not enough employees) and then drive thru is alway always slow.!!!! This location never has fresh croissants in the morning or fresh buns fornthe burgers. This location is run just like the Hudsonville location!! Anytime i walk into a Burger King. I never see more than 3-4 employees. I sont get it. Arbys and McDonald's always have a full staff. BK always have to wait for serves.
