Mr. Kozaks is Out of This World. Their food is incredible...the best little drive-thru you've never seen, truly a hidden gem. Right on the curve as Chicago Drive turns into 8th street in Holland. I've had a gyro, a double cheeseburger and spinach pies. Portion size is Huge - they don't skimp on meat! Everything is delicious, I'll be back many times to try the rest of the menu (and repeat a few favorites). They offer Italian beef sandwiches, hot dogs of all kinds (especially Chicago-style), and more.
UPDATE: Tried a Chicago dog and polish sausage with everything. Amazing. Fries on the Chicago dog, that was great!
I've seen a lot of reviews talking about poor customer service. I've only been there 3 times, and the staff has been pleasant, if not a little rushed. Pretty sure the same lady has waited on me each time. If there's only one or two people inside making everything fresh over a hot grill, they might be hurried, tired, and not sound gushingly delightful on the speaker. Read moreAs long as I have lived in holland. Mr kozaks II has been a popular attraction. This place is tiny but I’ll tell you the food is worth the cramp ness. 3 items that I thoroughly enjoy. First one is the gyro!! This sandwich is like the Charlize Theron of gyros. Long, tan and absolutely gorgeous to look at(hey girl hey). Second is there Italian beef sandwich w/the works and au jus. Sweet mother of Mary this is a thing of beauty. I can’t even look at this sandwich without blushing. You’re talking about Italian beef from Chicago topped with cheese and loaded with hot peppers. It really is every meatatarians dream. And top it off for the third and last thing. The fries are amazing!! They must sprinkle crack on them...
Read moreI bought a large (32oz) soda and they gave me a medium. (20oz.- I know this for sure because I measured it’s volume when I got home) When she handed me the cup through the takeout window it looked small to me. I asked her “Is that a large?” She said “yes”. So I paid for a large and got a medium. I don’t know if it’s a deliberate scam to make more money without raising prices or if they are clueless. The gyro was greasier than usual, it dripped out the end all over the table and the fries were undercooked and not crispy. The food just wasn’t as good as it used to be and I feel bad because I used to enjoy picking up an occasional meal there but now I’m not so sure I...
